The most important thing to consider with this place is the location. The listing notes Vernazza, but this villa is situated between Vernazza and Corniglia on the Blue path. Our host graciously offered to pick us up and drop us off at the train station which was great. This villa is NOT in town, so be prepared to do some serious hiking to get to Corniglia or Vernazza. We hiked in both directions and I would recommend hiking to Vernazza and then taking the train from there to wherever you need to get. It's about a 30 minute hike down to Vernazza (sneakers required as this is a rocky trail) which is not too difficult, but the hike back up from Vernazza is a bit strenuous. We were totally fine with this, but just be prepared- if you're planning on visiting the towns during the day it makes most sense to be prepared with everything you need in the morning since you can't easily pop back into your room.
The villa itself is very remote and surrounded by a lovely garden/trees. There is a communal kitchen you can use if you want to cook while you are there. There is one bar that is about a 10 minute walk away but besides that there are no nearby food spots.
The lemon room was very simple but comfortable (keep in mind that this is not a hotel, the room was very basic with just a bed and bathroom, no AC). Totally fine if you just need a place to sleep, if you're looking for luxury though I would stay elsewhere.
Overall, lovely stay, just be prepared that you will not be staying in town and will be doing LOTS of walking/hiking!
The accommodations could not have been better and the host is wonderful and helpful. Beautiful views from the lovely patio. Quiet room and secluded outdoor setting right outside the room with amazing views, lemon trees and comfortable lounges. Loved it!
