“Amazing Views!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

Amazing views, private location, well worth the hike! Amazing hostess and quiet. A little difficult to find but the hostess was more than willing to help us! Provided a map upon arrival with resturant recommendations! View was so beautful, it could have been a postcard. Would most definitely stay here again, hands down!

It's a little hike up the hill, but well worth it. Very private. We would highly recommend the Top Room, if it's available. Although all the rooms have private balconies and amazing views.

Furthermore, the service was amazing. With all our traveling, our luggage broke. There's no places to purchase in town. But Christina went in to La Spezia and grabbed some luggage for us - allowing us to continue our exploration of gorgeous Cinque Terre. Great service, great views, very comfortable, good prices ... what more can you ask for?

Room Tip: ask for top room for the best view

A wonderful stay in Riomaggiore at Limondi di Thule. Very highly recommend this property. Amazing views and Christina is a gem! She goes through any info you need for the area and has great restaurant recommendations. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment which has a small terrace off the bedroom and another larger terrace from the apartment with a small table and comfortable lounging chairs - great for enjoying a glass of wine at sunset! Great little kitchen for making breakfast - they even provide coffee so you can make your own!

As previous guests commented, the property is set up above the town, so it is a bit of a hike compared to what most people are used to, but it really isn't that bad. My husband and I (in our 40's and 50's) have a few extra pounds and are moderately active and we did just fine, so don't let it scare you away unless you have physical limitations. There is a shuttle bus that you can take up if you need to. Good excuse to pack light for your trip and the view is worth all the stairs!

Our visit was cut short due to train strikes. When we found out about the strikes Christina assisted us changing our plans and was an amazing help! We hope to go back and visit for a longer period of time in the future. There will be no question about where we will stay!

I love that staying here is like living out your fantasy of living in a small Italian village!

I also loved that it doesn't feel like your average hotel with tourists everywhere -- it's a private residence with locking gates and tons of privacy. And having keys to my own slice of heaven just made me feel so special.

The host speaks perfect English -- you'll appreciate this in Italy after the language barrier can be a bit of an issue! I think you'll also like the killer views all the way to the french coastline and the sunsets you'll soak up with a glass of vino in hand.

I've stayed here a few times, and I keep coming back. Thanks Christina and Alessandro for another wonderful stay.

I Limoni Di Thule is a fantastic choice if you are interested in staying in Riomaggiore. Previous reviews are actually quite accurate. The climb would be very difficult for older patrons, but is great for young active people. The view is indescribable...truly one of the best views I have ever had at any hotel. Cinque Terre in general is one of the most amazing places on earth. This place is highly recommended and the most affordable of any on our trip.

Room Tip: Their is a room and a studio. Both are great, but the room has the amazing balcony.

The room is extraordinarily small, but the view from the roomy balcony is enormously beautiful. Christina and Alessandro are also very nice and helpful. It is a great value for the price if you are in reasonable shape. There are several steps to climb and the shower is quite small - just large enough to fit one average-sized or smaller body (which seems typical of many places in Europe).

I almost don't want to write a review because this is one of those places you hope to keep to yourself. I rented a studio for two nights. Wish I had known how beautiful this area is and stayed a week! The rooms are very spacious with separate kitchen, dining and bathrooms. The terrace is overlooking the ocean. Since it is on top of hill, it is still very quiet. Other than the gentle waves. Host Christina is warm and welcoming. She prepared everything we need for the trip, hiking map, ferry schedule, Riomaggiore map, and suggestions on hiking trails. I absolutely adore this place. Some of my friends are going there. That's where I would direct them to.
