We recently visited Cinque Terre , and selected this place based upon other positive reviews. Have to say we were not disappointed. Location wise this is up on the hill behind the township, which means that you have a reasonably quick 5-10 min walk into Riomaggoire (slightly longer on the way back up!). We stayed in the apartment, and as we are doing a longer holiday it was great to have the chance to cook. There are a couple of coops in the township where you can pick up produce, pastas and wine etc.
The hosts were helpful and friendly, and speak fluent english. The rooms were also very clean and tidy, and in our apartment were a decent size to spread out in. We also had access to a balcony and terrace, which were very pleasant spots for breakfast, drinks etc with a lovely view out over the sea.

Only comment would be that an iron would have been handy. Would also recommend the road if wheeling luggage up to the accomodation, is much easier than the stairs as others have mentioned.

From beginning to end this place was more than we could have dreamed of. Everything was perfect - the balcony and the view being the real winner. Having a fridge was icing on the cake! Not to mention being able to park the car. We'll be back!

The hostess was extremely kind and helpful, and our room was fantastic. A private porch looking out over the bluff to the sea was very welcome after an afternoon in the Milan Terminal during a train strike. It is a bit off the beaten path, but that was the best part about it. A quick 4-5 minute walk down some stairs and you were in the heart of the town, but it felt like we were escaping everything each night when we returned. The bells of the little chapel nearby were a very nice way to wake up as well.

We will DEFINITELY come back to this place when we return to Cinque Terre. No other place will do.

Last week I spent a few days travelling on my own through the north of Italy. My room at I Limoni had French doors with shutters opening onto a spacious balcony. It was the perfect spot in the late afternoon to read or have a glass of wine. The owner, Christina, went out of her way to help me on several occasions. Nothing was too much trouble, right down to a small bowl of fresh peaches from her garden. Set on the slopes above Riomaggorie with expansive sea views and terraced gardens, this is a great place to stay in Cinque Terra.

A friend of ours recommended I Limoni di Thule to us for our trip to Cinque Terre, and we couldn't have been more pleased! The room was available to us for two nights, and we wish we could have stayed longer. The view was absolutely beautiful, the room was clean, the staff was helpful, and Christina went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. The value was great, and the location was even more perfect. The main town is only a short walk from the room, and its very close to the train station. We would definitely stay here again!
