Dune Blu

Great location right in centre of small town. We found the map hard to follow - it is just on your right a little up the Main Street as you walk out of long tunnel from train station.

Rooms well equipped and clean.

Cinque terra is no good in November however - most restaurants were closed as was the main walking track between villages.

I loved my stay at Dune Blu, as soon as I walked in the room I wished we had an extra night! The bedroom and bathroom is spacious, bright & breezy and modern. We had the green room, which was very relaxing - especially after a hot day trekking around Cinque Terre. Sara, our host was lovely and very welcoming. I would recommend Dune Blu to anyone visiting Riomaggiore and would stay here again without hesitation. Good free WI-FI, too.

For those wanting to avoid the many stairs to the top level where Dune Blu is - slightly up the hill from the bottom of the stairs/Dune Blu building is a tunnel-like opening. Walk through here, take the first right and it is only a few stairs to reach the back entrance of the building. Dune Blu is the first set of stairs to the left once inside - much better than the three or so flights you need to take if you use the front entrance.

We stayed for 2 nights in Riomaggiore and had an excellent stay at Dune Blu during a very busy time at the Cinque Terre! We paid £200 for two nights which seems expensive, but was normal for the beginning of August.

After contacting Sara from the train, she welcomed us and helpfully showed us the amenities of the room, including free wifi which is always handy when travelling! The room was a good size for two, with a fridge for us to use and teas and coffees which we could help ourselves to.

Dune Blu is situated at the bottom of the hill in the town so is very convenient and means we didn't have to stagger too far after enjoying the wines of the Cinque Terre! Thanks for a pleasant stay!
