We were picked up near the train station by a member of staff from Il Parco who drove us the short distance to the hotel, got us checked in, provided us with a complimentary Aperol Spritz & showed us round our room.
The room itself was fantastic with a very modern bathroom. For anyone concerned about the distance from the town on Monterosso....don't be. There is a regular free shuttle approx once per hour that goes to/from Il Parco to the town, however we enjoyed the walk so much that we never actually bothered with the shuttle. The walk into town takes about 7-10mins, and the walk home takes about 12-15 mins (as its up quite a few steps). But if you enjoy a short walk... it's an enjoyable walk.
The hotel (and train station) are in the "new" part of Monterosso, but there is a very nice enjoyable ten minute walk along the promenade to get to old town where most of the resturants are. (although there are some very nice restaurants in new town also).
Full continental breakfast was served every morning and the staff were very friendly. On checkout day, they also asked what time our train was at and they kindly took us down to the train station with our luggage.
The main purpose of our trip was to visit / hike between the towns of Cinque Terre. There is easy access from the town to the walking trail which takes you to the next town (Vernazza).
A fantastic B&B and we would definitely stay again!
