“The Perfect Place to Enjoy Cinque Terre!”
Reviewed July 18, 2014

Lets start with saying that Casa di Andrea is WONDERFULL!
The rooms are beautiful, with a view from the Patio that is breathtaking and completely "Cinque Terre-ish"'. Each room is really perfect, in pristine condition!
Carola, the owner, is a priceless help when it comes to recommendations on what to do and where to go!
Breakfast is served in an upper patio with a perfect selection and wonderful views!

Cinque Terre is a wonderful place to be! Monterosso is a perfect place to stay, as it is filled with restaurants, shops, and beauty. Casa di Andrea made our stay at Cinque Terre even more perfect! We are definitely coming back to stay here with our entire family!

Room Tip: Ask for rooms with patio & best view! But they are all amazing!

A gem. Carola is a fabulous host -- super friendly and generous. Our room was beautiful and thoughtfully furnished. Comfy bed, lovely bath. Breakfast on the patio was delightful.
The climb up the stairs was not bad, in my opinion. Monterosso is a hilly town, so unless you stay right on the beach in the new part of town, there's going to be some climbing involved. When we arrived and left, Carola's husband Oscar carried our luggage, which we appreciated very much.
Highly recommended!

Room Tip: the upstairs room with the balcony overlooking the garden

There is a reason why this place gets such high reviews. It is really fantastic! It is clean and modern. The hosts are fantastic - kind and so helpful! Breakfast is lovely and served on their beautiful patio! Definitely a hike up the stairs, but completely worth it!

I usually prefer hotels whilst I am travelling, however when staying in the Cinque Terre, hotels are thin on the ground and it's mainly B&Bs on offer, with varying degrees of maintenance and modernity (as you can see on the internet). Casa di Andrea exceeded my expectations on many fronts. It was in a great location in the old town (once you get your bags up the many flights of steep stairs - you definitely need help) and the rooms were all newly renovated with beautiful bathrooms, comfortable bed and opening up onto a green garden patio. Carola was a great host, taking care of us very well. She did our laundry and provided us with good directions and suggestions for the town.
The only thing I found annoying (albeit a very minor complaint) was that one morning breakfast just didn't happen? I think Carola had been out the night before celebrating/partying and so must have either forgotten or overslept...at any rate, we didn't starve, but we rather got used to the lovely breakfasts that were available to us each day.
She has a very energetic and cute dog, which we would have loved to take home with us.
I would definitely recommend staying at Casa di Andrea and if I return to the Cinque Terre, would stay at Casa di Andrea again.

This is an excellent B&B with tasteful, clean, modern rooms, good lighting, new bathrooms, pretty terraces with flowers, and a central location on a hillside with a view of the town. What makes it extra special is the dedication and hospitality of the innkeeper Carola and her husband Oscar. Carola is a whirlwind of energy, attending to your every need. She prepares a lovely, healthful breakfast each morning, served on the pretty terrace. She knows all the good restaurants, and she or Oscar will call for reservations and ask that you be treated well. She is also an interesting person, with very good English, and a former life as a doctor in Milan. (The only downside is the 80 steps up to the place -- but the destination makes it worthwhile. Also, I believe a new entrance with fewer steps is being constructed.) All in all, a memorable stay.

The owner, Carola, made this stay amazing! She is a wonderful host and makes you feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious and she served apricots picked right from her trees and fresh lemonade. The room was newly redone with wonderful air conditioning and a very nice shower. It was clean and welcoming. It opened up right onto their beautiful lawns overlooking the hills. It was nice to sit outside at night and watch the stars. It is a perfect location, directly above the main square. It is up a few stairs, enough to give it a good view and away from the crowds but not too much that dread hiking up them every time. I would definitely come back here again and I highly recommend it to other travelers!

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay in cinque terre. Not only are the rooms beautiful, clean and very comfortable but the owner Carola is the best! She is very conscientious about making sure everything is to your liking and always available if you need anything. The breakfasts were wonderful and served on a gorgeous patio. We had a great time here and were sad to leave. Already wanting to plan another trip. If you are visiting this area I would definitely stay at Casa di Andrea it is the best!
