“Great seaside experience!”
Reviewed July 1, 2014 via mobile

Our stay was great - the hotel is in a perfect location - right on the water and in the middle of the two parts of town. Staff were helpful and accommodating. The rooms have been recently renovated - so clean and modern. Close proximity to the mountain walks between each town which is a must do!

I stayed at this hotel with my two young teenage children and could not speak highly enough. Monteresso is the perfect sea side down and this hotel is nothing short of special. The family owned hotel made is feel like pat of the family, nothing was to much trouble. It was clean comfortable beautiful views and the breakfast was spot on. I noted this hotel was rated as number two in monteresso, I can only sooner what the number one rated hotel offers as this place is pretty hard to beat. Highly recommend and will definitely stay there again if I ever get back to Europe.

This was one of our favorite hotels on our visit to Italy. The room was very clean and comfortable. The family that runs the hotels makes you feel welcome! Our room was modern and well appointed (although very small). It is perfectly located on the beach and the restaurant was fantastic.

Had an amazing weeks stay at hotel pasquale. From the sea views to the freshly baked breakfast treats everything was perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful and very accomodating. We were on our honeymoon and one morning my husband slept in so I went down for breakfast the lovely signora that runs the hotel was concerned that my husband would miss breakfast and told me to make a plate of food for him which was so sweet of her. We also had to leave very early in the morning however she made sure we would have a cappuccino and some food before we left. On our stay we were also surprised with a hand delivered Spumante strawberries and chips with a sweet note of well wishes for our future!! Cannot say enough amazing things about this hotel definitely the right choice if staying in cinque terre!!

Our recent stay at Hotel Pasquale was fantastic. From check-in to check-out we, (3 couples) were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. This quaint hotel overlooks the fisherman's beach in the Old Town & we never tired of the view we saw throughout the days & nights. Hotel Pasquale is in a perfect location to explore the nearby, interesting, lane ways full of eating places & lovely little shops. We could also watch the trekkers heading off each morning up the pathway to begin the walk along the Cinque Terre tracks.

Best of all about Hotel Pasquale is that it is family run, we were greeted so warmly each morning, provided with a delicious breakfast, information about the local area and any help we needed. Our last night was spent outside the front of the hotel watching the passing parade, playing trivia, enjoying a last drink and then being supplied a scrumptious dinner by our hosts, perfect!

Yes, the train is very close to Hotel Pasquale, as it is for many other establishments, & for light sleepers might present a little problem but somehow it rather added to the charm of the experience. If you shut the windows it was a light rattle & not a hassle. And the train is such an important part of transportation to the area so it's something not to get uptight about.

I would suggest asking for a room on the higher levels, it's only 4 stories high, as the lowest level may be a little open to pedestrian traffic seeing in your windows. We were on level 3 and our friends on the top level 4. All rooms have an uninterrupted view of the beach.

Would go back in a heartbeat.

To Felicita & Angelo and their son Marco and their wonderful staff, thank you so much for the giving us such precious memories of our holiday stay with you and of the Cinque Terre.

Room Tip: If a light sleeper take some earplugs as trains close by. Stay on level 3 or 4 to get best advantage...

Stayed in room 2 (the balcony room). Other than the quirky non level floor the room was great. Location is perfectly located to access old town and the newer section. The foot traffic is very busy in front of the hotel but don't worry....the last train leaves at 9 pm and so do most of the people. Spent 5 beautiful nights sitting on the balcony with my wife until late at night. Felicita was an unbelievable help with restaurant tips, securing our missing luggage, calling the airline on our behalf and helping us understand the train schedule. The fish soup at the near by Belvedere Restaurant is a must. Most of all, we will miss waking up to the smell of the freshly baked pastries and breakfast including eggs cooked to order. We traveled on to Vienna, Prague and Switzerland and never had pastries near as good. Thank you Felicita

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel with the owners Felicita & Angelo. The hotel was charming, clean and the staff treated us like family. Breakfast was fantastic! Very convenient location; close to train and Cinque Terre ferry points. Ariana was most charming and helpful. Excellent restaurant recommendations too. Stayed three nights and didn't want to leave!

Room Tip: All rooms face the ocean and all are excellent but highest floors offers best views.
