We stayed at Alberta Casa Vacanze for three nights at the end of May. Giacomo was a very good host from the time of booking right up to our arrival and departure.
The house is located within a five minute walk from the train station, in front of the waterfront area and the marina where there are local ferries to the other towns along the Cinque Terre. As others have mentioned, the house is well equipped with all the essentials that you need and having a washing machine was a bonus. The views were superb and we drank local wines from the supermarkets and souvenir shops on the balcony in the evenings.
I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay in Cinque Terre. Manarola is an excellent town to base yourself in as its not too touristy, there are a number of good local restaurants (like Billy's) and you can easily walk along the Via dell Amore to Riomaggiore in 15-20 minutes.
The only negative is the narrow spiral staircase inside the house, so it may not be suitable for people with mobility problems. There is also only one bathroom so bear that in mind if you are travelling in a large group as the house can sleep up to 5 people.More
