Had a wonderful stay here in July - room was simple yet stylish and very clean. I even liked the art on the walls - something I don't think I've ever said about another hotel. Wonderful view and peaceful terrace - the climb up was part of the charm. Some previous comments have stated that the wifi was weak but we found the connection to be excellent. Maurizio was very helpful and a charming host. Couldn't recommend this place more highly.

This is the perfect place to leave behind stress and just breathe! Exquisite panoramic views, fairly quiet, and great smells from the nearby Trattoria Billy. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well cared for. Maurizio is a wonderful proprietor, providing maps and suggestions.

Aria di Mare is in a fantastic location. Manarola is a beautiful towns d Aria di Mare offers fantastic views of the town and the sea from your terrace. We stayed here from three nights in June 2013 and couldn't fault it. The room is exactly as represented on the website, the bathroom is clean and hot water perfect and the kitchens virtually brand new. Also, for Italy in particular, the rooms are huge!

We enjoyed relaxing on the terrace with a glass of wine at sunset before dinner.

Maurizio was super helpful and gave us great advice as to how to structure our itinerary. His wine is also worth a try and a very good price. He also recommended we eat at Trattoria da Billy across the road and it was superb.

Yes, it's a little hike up the hill from the train station, but Manarola is built down the valley to the sea, and the views are worth it!

My wife and I spent three nights here two weeks ago.......a stay we will never forget. Maybe the best ever. Maurizio welcomed us into his beautifully renovated apartment and ensured we had a daily itinerary from which to deviate.. His rooms are within 50 feet of Trattoria del Billy, the #1 rated restaurant in all of Cinque Terre. The rooms all look out over the Ligurian Sea and the village. These 3 days were up there with the most memorable of our lives!

Don't miss this place and book early!

Room Tip: All four rooms have spectacular views. Lower rooms have porches with outdoor furniture.

Va bene! Maurizio made us feel at home, stopping by everyday to offer itineraries, must-see destinations, and dining recommendations. The unit itself was immaculate, with free wi-fi, plenty of hot water in the shower, and a terrace with views that can't be beat. Although a bit of climb to reach the unit, we were rewarded with outstanding sunset and sea views and the only sounds were of the waves and a every once in a while a seagull. Highly recommend, make sure you reserve early as there are only four units. Maurizio also rents an adjacent fully furnished apartment with kitchen, need to reserve six months in advance for it! Don't forget to ask to purchase some of his homemade wine...

Room Tip: The best unit was on the second floor with a more private balcony
