Loved staying in this charming little room with roof access!! It was cozy and the view was stunning. I highly recommend Corneglia and this rental.
we had hoped to book the apartment with a small kitchen, but it was not available, so we opted for the single room instead, as the view and reviews all seemed amazing.
We were not disappointed! The room was small, very clean and the view from the little window was gorgeous. We were a few hours late to arrive, but this was no problem for Fabrizia or her Son. They made us very welcome.
We met them at their house, just up from the main square, then Fabrizia took us to the room, along a winding path and stairs along the Via Marina path, (which leads down to the sea and little beach if you continue along it past the rooms).
The internal staircase that has an electronic hatch opening to the roof terrace, was my stairway to heaven. What an amazing place to sit and relax and enjoy a wine, read or watch the sea and sunset.etc. just spectacular.
We are heading to the Amalfi Coast and have not found anything to rent that would match both the views and the price of this place....if you are going to Corniglia STAY HERE. I think you will be glad you did.
The town has great little cafe's,restaurants and a few shops for supplies...but if you are staying a few days in the Apartment, I would buy supplies in a bigger town and bring them with me as the selection is limited. Read up on the area to inform yourself about the train and bus services, walking. Trails etc. it will make your time here that much better. Corniglia was just the right size for us, not too busy, not too isolated. Day trippers leave fairly early so the town is quiet at night.
Remember, lots of stairs so pack light.
Parking is available up the road a bit from the square, or near the train station in paid blue areas,1€ 20 p/h I think until 7 or 8 PM 7 days a week.
If you are lucky, further up the road from the blue spaces are some white spaces which are free. Yellow areas are residents ONLY.
Best to drive into the square, mum load your bags, mother go park the car.
A couple of suggestions I would have for Fabrizia and Angelo:
It would be great for guests if you could provide 2 wine glasses, a corkscrew and 2 small plates and a small knife in the room, so if guests wanted to make up a small cheese plate and sit on your lovely terrace with a wine in hand they could. Angelo kindly supplied these to me when I enquired and it was a really good to enjoy the local produce and watch the sunset.
Thank you both for sharing your little bit of paradise.

We arrived in the village by shuttle bus from the train station, a much better option than carrying suitcases up the steep access road or steps. We located Fabrizia, who was very welcoming, and who enthusiastically assisted us with our luggage, and led the way to our apartment. We were delighted when we saw it - it was immaculately clean and there were views to die for! Fabrizia then activated a switch and down came the concealed ladder which led to an additional space above, a roof terrace with spectacular views. This terrace was furnished with chairs, tables and umbrellas and was an ideal place for sunbathing, or for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening, while watching the glorious sunset.
Our interaction with Fabrizia was mutually amusing, as we only knew a few basic expressions in each other's language, yet somehow we managed to communicate.
Fabrizia's son, Angelo kindly came to our rescue with conversation in English if our questions went beyond the basics. Nothing seemed to be any trouble to him, and he was always eager to assist.
We bought our provisions locally, adapted to the small kitchenette, and prepared most of our own meals. We found eating out was generally quite expensive, so we didn't dine out too often, but had coffee somewhere special each day.
Perhaps an improvement could be made with a pillow/ mattress upgrade, and larger towels would be appreciated.
We were delighted that we chose to spend a week in Corniglia - our favourite of the five villages.
If we are fortunate enough to return in the future, Casa Fabrizia, of course, will be the place where we'll choose to stay.
Thank you, Fabrizia and Angelo.

Casa Fabrizia was the perfect choice for my husband and I. We stayed 3 nights in the "camara" or single room. The view from the bedroom was great but the view from the terrace (just one level up) was even better but note that it is more or less a ladder to get up there. We sat up there all 3 nights enjoying the sunset with a bottle of wine. They have tables and chairs to make it that much more enjoyable. The room was small but cozy and the price was definitely right for the Cinque Terre. The bathroom was small but very clean. The only thing I would say is to bring your own towel if you're not a fan of the smaller sized towels. Other than that it was an absolutely fantastic stay. Fabrizia and her son were very helpful before my stay as I had many questions about the area.

We spent three nights in the apartment and loved everything about it. The room is well maintained and spotless clean. It's near the town centre so it's convenient to get food. The sea view, oh, unforgettable. Fabrizia and Angelo are very friendly who always have a big warm smile on their face. Corniglia is small and high up on the cliff which is why it's less touristy. After visiting the other four towns, both my husband and I voted Corniglia as our favourite as it's more peaceful and charming. We didn't have a blessed weather during our stay in Cinque Terre. It was raining for two days so we couldn't enjoy the roof top terrace much. Fortunately it finally cleared up on our last day there before we had to check out. We ran to the terrace, set up the table, and had a breakfast with a breathtakingly beautiful view. It's the highlight of our trip in Italy.

Our stay in Corniglia was made even more special by the great apartment with such beautiful views! Angelo & Fabrizia were welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Angelo had emailed me a number of times with instructions and Fabrizia met us with a smile and took us to the apartment. The rooms were perfect for our group of 4 travellers and we enjoyed the rooftop terrace with a view to die for and a chance to relax. The tiny kitchen was enough for us to prepare a couple of simple meals, allowing us to stay longer without overspending on food. The water pressure was good. Everything clean and tidy. We loved our stay!

Great room, beautiful view, very clean. We had the smaller unit, 1 bed and bath. The larger one with the kitchen looked amazing and has it own private deck and even better views. We used the shared roof top terrace every day. Owners were very helpful and accommodating. They arranged extra nights for us in their mother's rental, also very nice and great location.
