San Macario (St. Macario) is the patron saint of pastry cooks. In fact this coffee shop is also a pastry shop and a bakery.
The coffee is very good and if you come here to have breakfast, accompained with your coffee you can taste all the freshly made pastries.
The brioches are always fragrant and very good (with jam, chocolate, empty, custard) and very tasty.
they sell also bread that they made every morning.
It is very small inside but it offer also some seats outside. It is not properly a "panoramic view", but it is not bad. The atmosphere is very nice and the owners gave a personal touch to local.
It is not near the center of the city but is along one of the ways to reach the center of Udine from the highway.
Opens early in the morning and is also open on Sunday. Perfect for a fast coffee or a sweet present.
