We have been making a habit of checking out all of the gelaterias in town each time we come back home to visit. This one has been around for at least a year and we love to come back and try out their new flavors. The fact that they have so MANY flavors is both a plus and a minus. You have a lot to choose from, but the quality of the gelato varies more than it does at some of the stores that specialize in a handful of flavors. I liked their Nocciola and their Stracciatella, but the Pistachio is not as good as at some of the other stores in town, such as Fior di Latte or C'era Una Volta gelateria.
Go here and you can find dozens of flavors from which to choose. I recommend doing a gelato progressive if you have the time. Udine is a town where the gelaterias are so close to each other you're unlikely to finish your first cone before you are buying your next, so walk slowly!
