“Unique hotel”
Reviewed May 13, 2013

My husband and I were truly surprised by the design of the hotel. Normally when you see futuristic photos of the rooms you expect something a bit worse in reality. However, in case of i-Suite it was all the same. Very interesting design of the hotel in general – definitely unique on Rimini coast.

Our room was pricy – EUR 400 per night, which included parking, breakfast, spa entrance (normally EUR 38) and wi-fi. This is not to forget the amazing full sea view from our balcony. The room was very spacious with a huge tub in the middle of it :) There were 3 TVs - normal one, one above the bed (yes, on the ceiling) and one in the bathroom mirror. There was also a separate room with shower and toilet. All decorated primarily in white, which made it look even more spacious.

The room was cleaned very well and the towels were changed twice a day.

The swimming pool was nice with very warm water and comfortable pillows instead of usual sunbeds. The spa located on the 6th floor was also great. It offered everything you could think of – from normal sauna (with sea view), to sea water pool to emotion showers. It also offered fresh fruit, tea and snacks.

Breakfast was nice, so was the bar with snacks and nice drinks.

Now we come to the not so good part. At first the staff seemed very well-prepared, sometimes even too welcoming. But when we actually needed help – they failed to do it well. Maybe it’s the language – but then again, at a 5-star hotel you have to have staff that understands English well.

In general, it was a good stay.

Room Tip: Spend more for a sea view suite - it's worth it.

New, fresh, bright, friendly, modern, superwelcoming hotel in Apple style. White, glossy surfaces, mixed with just the right shade of green color and wooden detailes. Wonderful breakfast, great pool, especially in dark time. Enjoyed every minute there! Honestly!

Great, friendly reception on arrival, with the staff coming down to the under hotel parking to meet us with our key and collect our luggage. Very funky room with lots of cool features and very modern.

I have noticed on my current European trip, however, that many hotels these days consider privacy in the bathroom to be unnecessary and the iSuite followed that model with two slits in the bathroom door allowing no privacy from the main room.

The only other minor gripe is that, whilst very clean, the hotel had the feel of a psychiatric ward - the funky white decor and white outfits of the staff being faintly reminiscent of padded cells and straitjackets.

Breakfast was excellent, bed was comfortable, view of the sea fantastic. Recommended.

This hotel is something very different. I am not one who enjoys super modern hotels although my wife does, this often leads to me feeling the need for a comfy sofa and bath whilst she admires the design and style. The W in Leicester Square springs to mind where design over-rules comfort in the rooms. The i-suite however kept us both happy and our rooms on both visits were great.

The term 'suite' has been wildly abused by hotels, and this place is a prime example. A suite means 'a set of' or 'a group of things intended to be used together'. Hotels have increasingly used this term from what once meant three rooms (minimum!) comprising bedroom, separate sitting room and bathroom, to what we find today for a 'junior suite' one room, with a separate but complete sitting area and a bathroom. The 'junior suite' we had in this establishment was a room with a double bed a desk, a chair and an exercise ball to sit on. That's it!! Where is the 'suite'???
The designer is someone I would strongly invite to actually sleep in the rooms he designed and (hopefully) draw his own conclusions as to why such screamingly über-chic design sometimes just don't work: desk with no electrical plug (doh!) no bedside tables (so water, glasses etc have to go on the floor) a letterbox slit (a recurring theme) in the doors including the bathroom door making it very awkward for privacy, everything in white, making it very difficult to keep clean! Having said this the staff were all without exception extremely courteous (though the bar did charge us twice for cocktails...) and the breakfast was very good. Lobby is a bar (reception hidden way behind) with punters in bathrobes (presumably coming in from the pool) having cocktails, mixing with guests coming in with bags etc, not a good design concept as it makes it very confusing and not very intimate for the bar, and definitely odd for guests arriving.

So many good reviews, one more won't make a difference. Yet, quality needs to be acknowledged. "All white" modern rooms as if out of a sci fi movie, very comfortable, squeaky clean, with great views over the Adriatic Sea. The Hotel also catered for an excellent service and a restaurant with tastes to kill for.
Heated outside pool for the brave ones in the winter, and an underground parking which is quite useful in Italy.
All in all highly recommended triple A accommodation.

Room Tip: Request sea view.

Very nice and futuristic building. Nice hot water swiming pool and tv set on the cieling of the room. The services should be a little more consistent.

The bread in the brekfast should be more fresh and soft.

We had some diner on their restorant and we enjoyed it very much.
