“Hotel for spending the night”
Reviewed September 14, 2009

We were in this hotel in 6 - 13th September 2009.
The main minuses of this place:
Beside the railway.
Near to hotel houses of Italians where dogs make noise at night.
The safe in room is not present. The safe is in a cabinet of the personnel. A breakfast is very modest.
Bicycles - broken.
Pluss of this place:
The cheap price. The normal personnel.
Cleaning of room and change of linen every day.
There are discounts for a beach number 45.
Not far station and a supermarket Billa.
This Hotel for spending the night.

We were after a cheap hotel staying in Rimini and we found the Annetta Hotel priced at £178.81 for 7 nights in Aug for bed & breakfast for 2 adults, whilst the next cheapest hotel we found was nearly £400 !! We liked the look of the hotel but could find no reviews whatsoever about it so we took a risk and booked it.First off DO NOT book any transfers online - they will charge you about £35 PER PERSON for a return transfer.Instead if you jump in a taxi outside the airport they will charge approx 20 euro for a 1 way trip for up to 4 people or even better (but not with young family's as the buses do get full) is to catch the No 9 bus from the airport to Rimini town centre (you can't go wrong-most of the bus get off here !!) then from the bus stop next to it jump on the No 11 bus and go to bus stop No 14 (bus stop numbers are at the top of each bus stop). From here go about 50 yards the same direction of where the bus is going till you reach Hobo's Mexican bar.Turn right here and the hotel is about 200 yards on the left.Bus ticket prices are 1.50 euro per person each bus journey paying the driver or just 1 euro per person from shops displaying the bus tickets for sale sign. The hotel room is furnished with VERY OLD furniture and shower with no curtain and the view is terrible - we stayed in room 58 and we were facing someone else's hotel room opposite. If you can try get a street room - they seemed more deluxe.Saying that,as long as you are just looking for a place to sleep and shower like we were,we found for the price we saved from other luxury dearer hotels we made the right choice.Double bed though consisted of 2 single beds pushed together but was ok'ish.Shower was hot at all times of our stay and the rooms were cleaned every day (if you put the do not disturb sign on the door they do come back at the end to see if it has been removed yet to clean the room-brill if you got in late and want a lie in but still want your room done) but breakfast (served between 8-10) was mainly just continental or corn flakes ! We were there to party so when we got back to the hotel anywhere between 4-6 it was quite frightening at first. It was all in darkness, door locked and with no sign of anyone !! - located on the street though on the hotel sign is a little easily missable door buzzer.Ring that and you will find the doorman appear from just inside to let you in-usually though we found we had to wake him up with a long buzz but had NO problem getting back in.Nightlife is mainly in the next town-about 10 min on the 11 bus-but we didn't go there.Local nightlife is mainly suitable for people who like just bars but you'll find the main disco's outside beach no 5 (all the beach is split up from beaches 1-151 - a VERY long walk !!).You have got the beach one or Coconuts but be warned-drinks are very dear as they are all over Rimini except the one by beach 30 Mon-Fri between 11.30-12.30 - its buy 1 drink for 5 euro and get the same drink free so go here 1st between them times then stock up to get your party started !! (name slips me though but advertised outside) Go to beach 45 and say you are in the Annetta hotel and you also get 25% off the price of the beach beds and parasols.Another interisting thing is give the link http://www.riminibeach.it/webcam/webcam-live-ptz-rimini-1 to friends and family to watch you LIVE from beach 68 sunbathing on the beach or having a pint !! Up towards approx beach 70 you have got a blow up disco and a couple of bars but this area seemed to appear best for the early 20's.Food is priced about the same all over and sell mostly the same things though do try the Lord Nelson and get the Trafalga Panini - yum!! Most shops shut at midnight though you should be able to get a drink from somewhere along the main street up till about 4am and odd cafe ones till 6am!! Out and about definetly go see Italy in minature but do expect to get wet if you like water fights !! (No 8 bus but check last bus back-park closed in Aug at 11.00pm but last bus back to Rimini was at 8.30pm and it's in the middle of nowhere !!) All in all a good holiday for a week but a fortnight might be too long.Well, hope all this helps and enjoy your holiday !!
