breathtakingly beautiful building with exquisitely decorated high vaulted ceilings and good food.
The majority of the tables are very long so it is a mixed seating arrangement, not suitable for a romantic dinner, but the venue is more than worth at least a lunch or quick dinner.
Menu is a little limited, they only do the basic regional dishes like piadina, and every week they will add a seasonal menu. Passatelli in pheasant broth is a MUST if you're lucky enough to find it on the spot menu!

This enotecca / restaurant has 3 quite seperate area so although it is big it doesn't feel it. We ate in the front section, 50 years ago a pharmacy so very atmospheric with the wooden shelving used to house part of the extensive wine selection as well as some exhibitions by local artists - coupled with painted domed ceilings. The menu changes weekly and the food that we had cleared featured seasonal autumn produce (pumpkin and chestnuts) and was absolutely delicious. The waiter too was knowledgable about the local wines and his recommendation was reasonable and excellent.

We ate there for Saturday lunch, our only regret was that we were unable to get a table to go back for dinner.

Went for the tasting menu $36. Assumed it included a glass of wine per person. Got new wine with each of the 5 courses. Had to be rolled out the door!! No extra charges for cover, bread etc so the €36 covers everything. Nice room and atmosphere

Hotel recommended this restaurant as an example of a local eatery. Lots of food being served in a very busy restaurant. Great choices of local wines at very reasonable prices. But, it seemed like a mass produced assembly line. Not high on my list as a relaxing dinner setting. Food was ok not spectacular. So, all in all good value but not my preference.

The building housing this restaurant is very old and very interesting but I didn't like sitting with other people and not have my own table. The pasta dish was tasty but I prefer a smaller venue and my own table. Many locals were there for dinner but it also had a mix of tourists, too. In hindsight I wish the place I wanted to go had been open.
