The price was OK, it was a four star and it was close enough to Piacenza. The hotel is a little awkward to find, as we drove through the town and couldn't find any signs. As it's near the Stadio (stadium), it is fairly easy to find with retrospect. The hotel looks a little drab, being of concrete and a bit 80's. Still, it has a reasonably large free car park, though given the popularity of the hotel as a venue for everything from bridge playing, tupperware conventions, etc does get rather busy most evenings. The reception is clean and quite smart, the room was reasonably spacious and comfortable and the beds were quite comfortable. The bathroom was clean and perfectly adequate. The hotel is air conditioned throughout, so again comfortable. There was some adjacent room noise, but quite bearable. Breakfast was a standard buffet with nice pastries, but fair for cereals. There seems to be always sausages and eggs (rather yellow) as a cooked option. Overall quite happy with the service on offer.
