With all the riches of Parma for me this palace is just average in compare with other landmarks. The palace is situated in the busiest part of the city and while the architectural design is ok in my opinion you would not lose anything is you don’t visit it

Amazing old sundial on the exterior wall facing Piazza Garibaldi, gives the time pretty accurately, tells where it is noon right now, gives the date and the time of sunrise, all from a sundial.

A central square in the city, nothing special but nice enough, you will probably end up walking past here anyway

It takes about 15 minutes on foot from Parma station.
It is in the famous square in the statue of Garibaldi.
