“Great stop for lunch ”
Review of Panino d'Artista

Panino d'Artista
Ranked #121 of 786 Restaurants in Parma
Price range: $8 - $11
Cuisines: Italian
Description: In the heart of the historical centre of Parma is the coolest tradition sandwiches Parmigiana. An atmosphere that evokes memories of artist and unique flavors and recognized in the world. Prosciutto di Parma is the protagonist in the artist's Sandwich, but the menu is also space for refined palates, vegetarian, proposals to the boards of meats and cheeses, to salads. All strictly homemade. Homemade ham and bread made ad hoc for the artist's Sandwich. So many emotions in a simple and genuine product.

This was a nice little find while we were wandering round and we decided to stop for a bite of lunch. We loved the Bruchetta and the plate of ham. Nothing fancy, but good simple food, eaten outside as we watched the world go by. Fantastic!

Perfect stop for a before-dinner drink. Service is friendly and prompt. Drinks come with unlimited serve yourself appetizers. Oh yes, perfect refresher after a day of exploring Parma.

We stopped by for a drink before dinner. We did not realize that drinks seemed to come with unlimited appetizers! We could have had a meal! Plenty of spreads on bread, as well as salamis and Parma ham.

One glass of prosecco was 5 Euros, absolutely reasonable. If we have time we will be back.

Considering we had toast with Parma ham and eggplant Parmesan, and two glasses of wine, more than thirty-five euros was a bit steep. Can’t fault the food or the service.

Coming from Veneto region, it was great to see menu with more meat selections. We had prosciutto and torta fritta for appetizers (simply the best appetizer combo). Ordered spaghetti, lasagna, and tagliatelli (all meat) for lunch and they were all excellent. We washed everything down with some glasses of local lambusco. No complaints from this guy.
