You really should have a car for this location, on-street parking doable. We were very impressed with a lot of amenities like lots of space, nice kitchen, big bedroom and bathroom. Elevator and secure area, lots of hot water. Well appointed with furniture and Van Gogh, Clothes washer, Large Refrigerator, storage, good A/C. Brochures, TV, writing desk. On and on the place was fine, EXCEPT for the upstairs neighbors. Kids, yelling, stomping, playing, from late afternoon until 10 or 11 o'clock. Every night! This is not a B&B and you must make a decision if this noise is going to be tolerable to you, but make it before you arrive.
We were met by Flavia and shown round the appartment. Really nice and clean. We really liked the addition of Wifi that Flavia had just set up for our arrival, thank you.
The location is great:-
Lovely coffee shop on corner of apartment block. Supermarkets and shops close by and loads of restaurants. Centre of Parma was a 20 min or so walk away which we were very happy with. A park close by as well which kept our two football mad teenagers happy.
Must mention the Emilia ice cream shop on main road, we were regular visitors! Delicious ice cream!
Only problem which is reason for marking score only average is the dispute over the deposit. I have not been returned the deposit (100 Euro) as per the invoice and agreement when I booked via Travel Advisor. Flavia believes she advised via other emails (outside Trip Advisor) that the cost was different and I should have known.
So really my recommendation is that it is a great property in a very convenient location - just make sure the rental agreement is clear! I have ticked that I would recommend the property, however - be careful with the Rental Agreement!
