My father and I read about this Enoteca on a blog about traveling through Parma on a budget. We happened to pass by it while walking down the Main Street and decided to peek inside. The inside looks like a wine shop until you turn a corner and find a small room filled with locals enjoying a glass of wine. We had sandwiches made on the spot with delicious local ingredients and focaccia. We could choose what to put in our sandwiches and paid 2.50 for each of them. A generous glass of local wine starts at 1.50 so for 4 euros each we had a delicious fresh sandwich and a glass of Lambrusco wine. Highly recommended!

A very, very popular wine bar, with entrances on the Strada Farini and Via Maestri. It serves up an impressive amount of quality wines by the glass and has an impressive array of stuzzichini, (or cicchetti), to soak it up. It has a much broader range of wines than a competitor further up the street, not to mention a back-room where you can take a seat. Sitting indoors wasn’t particularly popular when we visited in early September, as temperatures – even in the evenings – were in the high twenties. So people spilled out on to the street with their glasses of wine and it all made for a really enjoyable experience. Prices were on the whole cheaper than its competitor but obviously, this may have simply been down to the cost of the bottle. Why not have a glass in both?

It's just great here. There is a lengthy, but simple, selection of panini as well as some more substantial dishes. The wine is very drinkable, and it's all pretty affordable given the location in of Parma's fanciest streets. There is a nice old school ambiance, and you often end up sharing tables - and thankfully everyone seems to be in good spirits

Perfect of you want to sit down to a good no fuss panini and glass of wine. Wife and I loved the quaint atmosphere and the service was great.

Delicious horse meat and cooked vegetables, very reasonable prices. This is a very good place where you can find very good compromise between good food and wine and good value for money.
