A very, very popular wine bar, with entrances on the Strada Farini and Via Maestri. It serves up an impressive amount of quality wines by the glass and has an impressive array of stuzzichini, (or cicchetti), to soak it up. It has a much broader range of wines than a competitor further up the street, not to mention a back-room where you can take a seat. Sitting indoors wasn’t particularly popular when we visited in early September, as temperatures – even in the evenings – were in the high twenties. So people spilled out on to the street with their glasses of wine and it all made for a really enjoyable experience. Prices were on the whole cheaper than its competitor but obviously, this may have simply been down to the cost of the bottle. Why not have a glass in both?
