This is a great place to pick up meats, cheeses, and wine to take back to your hotel. The staff is passionate and love what they do. It's an experience to watch them work and enjoy the true foods of Italy.

This salumeria has delicious and beautifully presented local food to take away. We recently stayed in Parma for a week in an apartment, and found this food store to be the perfect place for us to purchase wonderfully prepared food to bring back to our apartment for lunch or dinner when we wanted to eat in. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful food store with all kinds of ham and Italian delicacies stocked up. Alot of locals come here to get their lunch or even dinner for take out. There are lots of salad, antipasti and bread available. Needless to say, they looked so fresh and tasted delicious. There is a small table in the shop and they will pull it out and set it for u if you want to eat there. We ordered the seafood salad, a pasta salad and a freshly made focaccia with prosciutto on top(lots of it)! Can food be so delicious!! All the staff were friendly, helpful and were so cheerful and nearly singing as they talked. We enjoyed every moment of it.
Parma is a small town and only needs 1-2 hours if you are not going onto a food tour. The Salumeria Garibaldi is a must go in Parma.
While talking to one of the staff, I learnt that they have opened a shop in Roppongi Hill. Definitely will look for it next time when I am in Tokyo!
Btw the Parma train station is under renovation. There is no luggage storage in the station.

High quality take away food, cooked meat and wide vegetarian selection of food that you would be happy to pay for because of the excellent value for money. Staff very friendly. food warmed and sealed in container for take away. Plastic knife and forks and napkins offered. I ate there for the 3 nights that i stayed in parma. Cakes were delicious, i had to bring some home. Food fresh and plentiful.
