This place features deservedly in many guides to restaurants in Italy, but I hadn't noticed that until I stumbled through the door with a group of colleagues while in Parma for a brief business meeting - and saw some of the guides on display inside. Hidden away in the side streets, it is a small, family-run establishment, which offers a limited menu of interesting dishes, all well prepared, and a good, short list of well chosen wines (and grappa), all at very reasonable prices. Don't be put off by the down-market 'Osteria' title; this one is well worth a visit - or two!
