Look, cathedrals are cathedrals, but each one is unique and distinct. This one has, by far, more frescoes than I have recently seen in a cathedral. It is free to enter, and a small 2 euro donation lights the frescoes so you can take better pictures. The stained glass windows are also lovely. There is no reason to miss this if you are in Parma.
