This place is gorgeous, the owner Francesco was so friendly and welcoming (and so were his cats!), I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 2 nights in this old farmhouse, with lovely 2-ish acre grounds, very secure, about 2KM from central Parma. It is actually surrounded by roads and industrial stuff that post-dates it by 100 years, but it pulls off the oasis of seclusion thing pretty well. Lovely old rooms with original features, stunning relaxation. The very amiable host has good English and lent us bikes to head into Parma on. Only slight disappointing thing was the breakfast, which was a plentiful buffet, but no fresh milk and no hot food (except toast). I think a fry is compulsory in a B&B, but that's just me.

A quiet B&B in a beautifully restorated old farmhouse, just outside the town. Owned and managed by a friendly Mr. Bigliardi who is able and of course willing to give you detailed information about the region. The B&B has several (three ?) rooms to rent which are furnished elegantly. The house comes with a large garden. In spite of the fact that the house was surrounded by several rotonda's it is remarkebly quiet during day and night. The navigationkit in my car had some difficulty to find the exact location. This B&B is a good startingpoint to discover the surroundings (Parma, Bussetto etc).

This was a lovely farm near the autostrada (but I didn't hear traffic) and a short bicycle ride into the city center. Francesco lent me the bicycle and gave me the run of the place. I loved riding into town each morning -- I felt so Italian with my basket and bell! EVERYONE in Parma rides bicycles. The farm itself had lovely grounds and a back patio where I sipped my drink at night before heading to a very restful sleep in one of the quaint rooms. Breakfast was self service in the morning. Parma was filled with all kinds of sights to see, shops to explore, and things to do. One could easily spend a whole summer here.
