This is an excellent buffet and obviously a favourite with the locals as well, which is always a good recommendation.

There is so much to chose from here from cold meats and salads, to hot pasta, meat and veg dishes. Then there is a wonderful selection of dessert as well.

Some of our favourites were the prawns and gorgonzola risotto, roast beef, tortellini, truffle tagliatelle, grilled vegetables, chicken and celery dish, fresh fruit, fruit tarts and massive profiteroles. This is just drop in the ocean of the huge selection though.

A must if you a looking for somewhere to eat in Modena.

The flavored are powerful this restaurant surprised me I was expecting it to be tourist because of the great location. The good is wonderful if you do nothing else have the gelato tasting for desert. But i highly recommend dinner. Enjoy this hip restaurant.

Beautiful place to eat in the shade of the Duomo. A glass of spumante on the house and a fine presentation of the dishes. They have an exquisite wine list. Staff is mostly friendly; one waiter didn't pay much attention however and was rather 'distant'. Nevertheless: great place!

We were recommended cafe concerto by our hotel receptionist. The restaurant is located in a square overlooking a beautiful church. The restaurant was inviting and busy with families and couples chatting. To be honest we thought we may be a little undressed but it was fine.
Staff were friendly but not too intrusive and spoke perfect English.
Before we ordered we were given a glass of something sparkling and delicious, a selection of breads and some crudités, followed by a pillow of Parmesan.
The menu was full of local produce with a focus on balsamic and Parmesan. We had fried baby squid with balsamic and a Parmesan tart to start, both heavenly and then lamb wrapped in pork fat and roast suckling pig, the pig won the course but both were expertly cooked and tasted beautiful. We washed this down with a cent bottle of the local Lambrusco. We finished with hot chocolate cake and home made ice cream which again were very good. Total bill was €93 which we thought was exceptional value.
A local group started playing music around dessert which only added to the evening. A great experience, this will be an evening we remember for many years, thank you.

Centrally located on the Piazza Grande in Modena, we stopped by here one sunny Monday afternoon for a light snack and a prosseco. We found the wine list reasonable and the afternoon buffet quite good.

Sitting outside, the setting is nice and peaceful during the day and makes a relaxing place to spend a little time and watch the goings on in the piazza.
