Description: Casual yet elegant restaurant with a young team providing professional service. Sophisticated cuisine with a light regional flavour also influenced by other cultures. Inventors of "chromatic cuisine" (the rule of chromatic harmonies in music is applied to achieve harmony in taste). Counter serving oysters, canapés and champagne. The restaurant also has its own delicatessen.

Not your run of the mill Bologna restaurant. Everything is great and with a twist. You must try hi deconstructed McDonald burgers...Sounds pretentious but who cares, they are delicious!

I had his version of Bollito Misto, a local specialty that i am not keen on...Boiled meats including tongue etc. Marco's version was deep fried, and with a suace/jus that defies description it was so great.

After about 2 weeks in Italy, including Rome, Capri & Florence, we were so happy to find this restaurant that caters to foodies. The food is not "typical" Italian. The dishes are meant to be fun and playful . . . Chef Marco Fadiga definitely has a sense of humor. You must keep this in mind so as not to be thrown off by the spaghetti in a Chinese take-out box with chopsticks. It is very lighthearted. The staff was friendly and helpful. Marco came out and spent time with our table of 4. The ambience is colorful, not stuffy or pretentious. The desserts are delicious too. We loved it so much we went 2 nights in a row!

we were the first people to arrive and shown a poor table..we asked for another one and were told to wait while the lady checked to see if it was OK for us to have a better table...after 2 hours there were only 4 tables taken...as we were in Bologna my wife said she would have the spageti bolognese..it arrived in a chinese take out box..if it had been me I would have sent ot back..not what I come to bologna for..my perdiz was fine...but it was not enough to feed a 3 month old...one half of a wing and one half of a leg...no breast...a small amount of potato and that was it..not even an appetizer portion....the Montelpulciano wine was excellent but when the bill came I found they had overcharged me for it...the waiter was not even apologetic about it...blamed the computer..I would never go back here nor would I recommend it..there are far better places to eat in Bologna.

A funny place. Irony and humor in all you see/hear/eat/drink. Obviously the owner wanted to show what he thinks of all industrial and packaged ready-to-eat food. There are artifacts on each table (we had a pack of “chips Bolognese” from Poland); the waiter said the owner collects those items during his travels. Another thing you see is the note “Bianco frizzantino della casa” that seats on top of staked boxes with Dom Perignon. Further the note says: Mezzo litro – 90€, Quartino - 50€. Same about the menu – it’s a joke and provocation and… a menu. How about “Una Carbonara molto costosa” (very expensive Carbonara) with two versions – “abbastanza” (sufficiently expensive) for 25€ and another one – “tantissimo” (seriously expensive) for 40€. Why expensive? Because of the foie gras added. In fact, it’s a tricky dish and can actually be very fine one, but in this particular case I don’t think the chef achieved much with it. It heavily smelled boiled chicken and/or bouillon… Another example of funky dish already has been described by one of the reviewers below: spaghetti Bolognese served in the box you typically see in Korean/Chinese takeout. Well, the dish itself was good, but it’s properly impossible to eat it with the chopsticks, I mean, technically speaking you can, but you can’t eat it the way you should if you want to really enjoy the interaction of the pasta and the sauce. So, you may play a bit with the damn sticks but eventually you need to put the pasta in the normal plate (preferably warm one), and in that case you would have to ask for that plate, wait for it, hoping the pasta will survive and all that blah-blah-blah. So, my point is: if the chef respects his dishes he should be careful about the jokes he plays about the way the dishes are getting served. Nevertheless, the quiche with mussels and finocchietti was fine, as well as granite of watermelon. Vanilla ice-cream with chocolate chips and tobacco was inventive, not more… The service was attentive and friendly; the atmosphere – warm and lively. So, I wouldn’t return for food really, but altogether you can have a good fun there.
