We stopped in Bologna just to catch lunch here. Worth. Every. Effort.

No kidding. You must order the tortellini in broth. It's not to be believed. Spaghetti Bolognese also outstanding.

The chef/owners couldn't have been more accommodating. We even got a personal demonstration on tortellini shaping at our table.

WIsh I could eat here once a week. You should go eat here now.

The pasta here is to die for and the front of house owner is rightly proud of the pasta dishes she makes each day. The Lambrusco was also good and reasonably priced. We would have liked a blackboard menu rather than trying to remember what we were told was on offer. Very friendly service and packed with local people and visitors. It's slightly off the beaten track but easy to walk to from the centre and well worth it.

If you are visiting Bologna for the first time and want to experience the local pasta and delicacies, then this restaurant is a must. We were lucky to meet another couple who had eaten there the night before, and recommended we had to go. When we arrived, the owners who are a husband and wife team, greeted us at the door and once we sat down the wife came and sat down next to us and showed us how she makes her pasta, fantastic display at the table. They then took us through a gourmet feast, with each dish just enough for my wife and I, to adequately taste the each plate and move on to another special dish. The homemade ravioli and white truffle was too die for, after 6 or 7 tasting plates with beautiful glasses of wine selected by the owner, we had been taken through a fabulous tour of italian food. Very reasonably priced(around 110 Euros in total for both of us for everything)Thank you again to the owners for spending time to making us feel so special, well done and to all you considering to go there, You must.

I'm sure tortellinis and pastas were great. Also they recommended me pasta.. But i choosed chicken. And chicken was average.. Maybe it was my fault. Because i didn't choose the tortellini or pasta which are famous. But if they keep the chicken in the menu, it has to be tasty as the famous ones..
Anyway wine was nice. And hospitality was great also atmosphere was..
I paid 31,50 Euros for chicken, a glass of wine, water and vegetables plate..

our first day in italy of this trip, had been flying and driving for 15 hours... friends took us here. we had to wait because it is small, cozy, friendly, neighborhoody.... while waiting you can go just down the block to Frisson, a cute tiny champagne bar. at dinner we ate family style, just telling the owner to make us huge platter of 3 kinds of pasta, plus salads, cold meats, salads, etc. MUST try the tagliatelle with ragu that are made with wine sauce, excellent. they do home made tortellini also, as well as a pasta with asparagus and sausage. the desserts weren't as good as the main courses. for more food than we could possibly eat plus plenty of wine, we paid about 35 euros each.
