“Mixture of several churches under one roof.”
Reviewed April 22, 2014

This is different, the churches inside are small, old & of different shapes. The courtyard is lovely, in the sun with all the flowers in bloom. Just sit there and admire the architecture. If the weathers good, then sit by the arcade, just off to the side, watching everyone rush about, thats the tourists, all those that stroll & chat are probably the locals.
Then stroll from here to Piazza Cavour, grab an ice cream & if the weather's good, sit in the small park, watching the world rush past.

“Pretty ancient churches complex”
Reviewed April 20, 2014

This is a complex of churches dating back to 400 AD - and based on a pagan temple pre-dating that. It is very pretty and interesting, with unique architecture and some nice wall paintings. Recommended.

“Soooo beautiful”
Reviewed April 11, 2014

A great place to visit, so nice , mysterious , simple but grandiose....it goes from one room to another. Medieval style , high ceiling, simple design and so spiritual.
The garden is very pretty and at night the light makes it amazing.
Cant miss this place

“A jumble of churches”
Reviewed March 21, 2014

This is a very strange ensemble of churches and cloisters built more or less on top of each other over the centuries.
Not particularly pleasing to the eye but intriguing nonetheless.

“Amazing series of churches”
Reviewed March 10, 2014

From the outside I did not expect too much. Once inside though it was just amazing to discover church after church. I would definitely visit again. The area around is also lovely for a coffee or something stronger!
