“Nice central place to start”
Reviewed November 17, 2012

Great place to start your exploration of Bologna. From here you can walk to almost anywhere in downtown Bologna. Was there on a Saturday afternoon and there was lots happening in the streets. Felt very comfortable walking around just killing time. Lots of places to drop m either for food or just an espresso!

“Huge and impressive”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

You cannot go to Bologna for a day. You need a few days to wander around and soak up the history of this amazing city. Standing in the Piazza Maggiore you have on one side the 5th largest Church in the world and also a series of beautiful Palazzos, together with the statue of Neptune. Always something going on here so take a sandwich or sit at one of the cafes and take it all in. Bologna is great.
