This is possibly one of the most boring museums i've ever visited! Little thought appears to have been given to a modern presentation method, instead this is strictly exhibits in cases. There is an audio guide but the author of the content lacks any flair for putting his subject across whilst i was unable to be sure of the nationality of the person narrating. He struggled with the Italian pronunciation but then also mispronounced many English words and judging by the monotone used he was as bored reading the script as i was listening to it. We were in Stockholm earlier this year and visited several there all of which made their subject matter ( all historical ) interesting and absorbing and this museum would do well to update it's ideas and take a leaf out of the Swedes book.
The museum is heavily staffed, so much so that one employee practically stalked us around some sections of the museum, presumably for something to do as there were very few visitors. The highlight of the visit was the vending machine which had no place to insert money to make a purchase. Two couples plus ourselves tried in vain to obtain some refreshment from it with no sucess.!
