“Great location to see old town!”

A 10 minute walk from train station and 15 minutes from Piazza Maggiore along with a good price makes this a good choice. The room was small by Italian standards and faced the main street but was still quiet enough to sleep. There isnt much activity in the area after 9Pm and so a solo traveler should stay off street. Hotel is in a multi use building and is older but very well kept. The breakfast room was excellent in decore and selections as well as service. The wireless was easy to use and reliable.

We had a wonderful corner room in what appeared to be a newer section of this hotel. It was nice and bright, having 4 windows in it. And even though it was located on a fairly busy street we were not at all bothered by street noise. The breakfast buffet actually had scrambled eggs (so many of our hotels only offered hard boiled eggs), but on one morning they ran out of bacon and did not restock the whole time we were eating.

The location was wonderful. Situated on one of the main streets, it was only a 10 minute walk into the Piazza Maggiore. I believe it would have been walkable from the main train station as well, but we were lazy and took a taxi (about €10). There were also a number of good restaurants within about a 5 minute walk, eg, Ristorante Donatello & Trattoria dal Biassanot.

We loved our stay in Bologna - the hotel was very nice, the city was quite enjoyable, and most of all we loved the food!

Excellent location and easy to reach by car; but having requested parking, upon arrival I was told that none was available. After this initial difficulty, the staff (who appeared extremely helpful) eventually found us a space for the car.
Otherwise, everything else was good.

This hotel was one of several recommended by a friend who lives locally, Initially we were going to stat at the 5* down the road, but luckily listened and chose this one. The room was comfortable and in good condition, bed comfortable , pillows a little hard!

It has good access to the railway station and all main shops and restaurants. (see reports on restaurants) Sadly one Cafe we visited was not on the Trip Advisor list but excellent. Hope they will add.

The Hotel only does breakfast, so it means eating out.

So far our stay here is great

Room Tip: We had a side room and it was pretty quiet, but I would imaging the main road side may be noisy due...

The Internazionale is a 10-minute walk away from the rail station and even closer to Bologna's main square, Piazza Maggiore. You can walk to a number of good restaurants nearby (check out the Via Mascarella - off Via Irnerio - for watering holes and restaurants).
The Internazionale has an unprepossessing lobby and aging, temperamental elevators but the rooms are top notch and sleep quality excellent, as long as you get a room facing the rear. Breakfast consists of a lavish spread and is absolutely top quality. If your business meetings are in the city center or if you're a tourist planning to walk around Bologna's main attractions, the Internazionale is a safe bet.

We stayed here for the first two nights of a two week trip, and it was the largest, most comfortable room, with the BEST bed of our entire trip. The bathroom even had double sinks. The only thing is change would be the automatic air freshener on the wall in the bedroom, which didn't bother us as much as we expected it to. Would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast is one reason to visit this hotel. They had everything. Egg, scrambled egg, bacon, ham, prosciutto, juice, musli, different kind of youghurt, and so on. Its the first time outside scandinavia that i have seen gluten free alternatives and lactose free milk in a hotel!!
The room was nice and clean with modern design and wide 32" TV. The crew was helpful, both in reception and at the breakfast.
