I treated myself to a single room with attached bath. I expected basic, but I did expect a little more for 46 euros. The room was tiny, and the bed had a big crater in the middle.
The breakfast was virtually inedible with bread rolls as hard as concrete.
The place also seemed to be being used as some sort of homeless shelter. Didn't leave me feeling very safe.
Not good value for money for a single person. Location ok, but otherwise not great.
- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
- Pallone is for young people, for students and for those who know the meaning of the word “solidarity”. Pallone is social innovation and luxury of simplicity. Value and budget in an authentic, imperfect and surprising place. The building rises a few hundreds of meters far from the train station, the University and Two Towers. The Exhibition centre is easily reachable with a few bus stops. We offer private rooms with shared bathroom and beds in dormitories. They are coloured, basic and cozy. Inside the facility you can try and taste the dishes of the Osteria La Buca del Pallone “the flavour of the right labour”, or use the meeting rooms, equipped on request with projector and audio system. Wifi is available and free in the entire building. Necessity has never been so clear to the eyes. Albergo Pallone it’s your place too! ... more less
