My company booked this hotel for me, therefore I have no idea of the price.
However, they have been very helpful and friendly.
I arrived late, and although the official parking was closed, they found a quick solution at a cheap price.
they allowed me to leave the car the whole day after while I was around on business.
The staff at the breakfast lounge was extremely friendly and although I am not very keen in chatting with people I don't know, i found myself talking with a waiter about his city and other stuff.
The people at the reception was very nice, too.
Althou the hotel it's a bit old, the rooms are ok, clean and big enough.
Strongly suggested for a business trip

I stay here every time I am in Bologna about twice a year for the last 20 years. The hotel represents good value and is ideal for a stay in Bologna. I have never used the restaurant and they are making an effort to make guests use it to the extent that during my last stay they closed their excellent bar,. None of the guests staying there were happy and we put in a complaint to Sandro and his staff, hopefully it will be open again in October. The rooms are reasonably sized and clean although some of them are a little tired and the showers seem to get smaller with the passing of the years. Good location near some nice restaurants, including Casa Monica, my favourite restaurant in all the world. Sandro,Michele,Francesaca and all the staff are super people.

Room Tip: I take my breakfast in Cafe Lenzi about 100 metres from the hotel in Via San Felice as the coffee &a...

For anyone traveling to Bologna a stay at Hotel Re Enzo is a must. Director Sandro Stridi and his outstanding staff look after every guest's needs with utmost detail and professional service.
From clean and modern rooms of ample space to the phenomenal breakfast of local Emilia Romagna dishes this hotel has it all. And the prices are excellent versus other hotels in the area. The staff speaks superb English and is always available to assist.

I travel around the world on business and have been coming to Bologna regularly since 1998. This is always one of my favorite stops anywhere! Do not miss it! Kudos to Mr. Stridi and his team.

I was here for a second time in two years cause it has optimum quality/price. If you arrive by car there are choice between private garage and surface parking both have a convention with hotel. After left your car you can go around city on walk. At five minutes by walk from hotel there are plenty restaurant and cocktail bar but hotel remains still quiet for a good sleep. If you have some child close to hotel there is a park with new playground for them.
Receptionist are well skilled, not like Hilton, but they are helpful and really kind. Rooms are ok, not too big neither too small. Bathroom are very clean with emotional shower. For a man it was pity that toilet seat couldn't stay up alone.
Breakfast was very good for an Italian hotel. Only in international chains like Nh or Hilton, I found same large choice in Italy.

I stayed at the Re Enzo for 3 nights with some friends. We had a great time and the hotel staff were very helpful at booked us restaurants and taxis, and generally offering advice. The hotel is currently being renovated, and whilst it does need it, our room was still comfortable and very clean. Nice toiletries and big fluffy towels. Breakfast was good, although one morning the pastries were quite stale. We were never in time for hot food, even though we were at breakfast at 8.30 every morning. I like the location of this hotel - it is quiet and a short walk from the centre.

A very nice hotel with a very good restaurant. The room was clean, quiet, and nicely air conditioned. The breakfast was what you would expect with a good selection. All the staff spoke good English and were friendly and helpful. Free WIFI is available and the city centre is a pleasant 10-15minute walk away although if that is a bit far Toto's pizzeria is just around the corner and is highly recommended.

If arriving by car then there is a secure car park beneath the hotel however the hotel does not own it and while there is ample space it is expensive, I paid 60 euros for 3 nights which even for the piece of mind was still a bit steep however as stated this is nothing to do with the hotel but worth knowing about in advance. Street parking is available but is limited and will require a permit which can be obtained from the hotel.

Large uninteresting bedroom, with peeling wallpaper. Promised Tea facility only on request. Staff not very friendly. Breakfast coffee and juice powdered. The large breakfst area was only sparsely filled, empty bread basket and cheapest bread for toast.
