For one starter, one fish and one pasta dish (= one primo and one secondo piatto), a bottle of wine and a bottle of water we paid 75€. The food was good, but not great. You can definitely get better food for less money. The service was friendly, but as a younger couple it seemed that we did not get the same amount of attention that others got.

I went here with my partner for New Years Eve after reading about Le Mura being the best seafood restaurant in the city. Reservation wasn't a problem and the menu options were pretty varied. They are written on a blackboard which moves around at the tables while they explain what everything is. I must say everything we had was delicious. We had a seafood feast. Their hot and cold appetizers plates are interesting and everything is cooked perfectly. Main course was a giant plate of grilled things (calamari, crayfish, king prawns, lobster) on a bed of salad and another plate of king prawn, octopus and dorada. We split a desert because we couldn't fit any more deliciousness even though everything looked good. Had an amazing wine recommendation from the waiter as well. Their menu changes according to what they have but trust that it's all very good. Nice osteria atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely night!

Sicilian in Bologna? YES! the food is great, the staff, wine selection. Everything is fresh and tasty, I have eaten here twice and plan on returning. A small family run business, you can tell they care about doing it right. Time is taken to literally describe EVERY dish. Makes it hard to decide but all decisions are good. Closed monday and open for lunch weekdays

Who would have thought that one of the best Sicilian restaurants that my husband and I have been to would be located on a side street in historic Bologna. Immediately across the street from the Hotel Porto San Mamolo this unpretentious authentic Sicilian restaurant is owned and operated by a family from Sicily. The menu changes daily and is presented on a chalkboard. Although the menu is in Italian the helpful staff will patiently explain the dishes in their limited English. This is a fish restaurant and as the previous reviewer pointed out there are no meat options. However, if you like fish you will not be disappointed. Everything that we ordered was both fresh and delicious. For our main we had the Branzino Al Sole ( i.e. sea bass encrusted in salt).. The fish was presented to us for approval before being taken to the kitchen and after baking delicately deboned tableside. The wine pairings which were recommended to us were spot on. The cannolis and limoncello which we had for dessert were a perfect end to a wonderful meal. Highly recommended.

A friendly family run trat. without any pretensions. There is NO meat option.
The Sicilian owner explains the menu fully in English, so can you choose your fish raw, fried, baked, stewed or whatever. Fresh? I think that the Sea Bass flicked its tail at me!
A comprehensive wine list is available but the owners recommendation was spot on. Fresh and vibrant it was immensely gluggable. And very affordable.
I was not very well and could not really appreciate everything. My wife raved about it.
Not hugely expensive, look to pay about E 120-150 for 2, including wine (4 courses).
This place does offer good value for money and is worthy of high praise. Definitely worth a return visit.
