This is a good option for staying in Bologna, conveniently located on the road to the airport (bus stop from/to the airport is a 2min walk) but also within walking distance to the city centre, about 20-25 min to be precise.
The hotel does not have curb appeal, as it is housed in an ugly 70s block but it has been modernised quite effectively inside. However the bathrooms look more dated than the rest of the room and if you look closely you can see the real age of the building showing. Nevertheless everything is functional and clean, any minor issues are purely aesthetic. Our room was massive in size and quite modern, with flat screen TV and kitchenette area, although you have to pay extra to be allowed to use the hobs.
Breakfast buffet was very extensive and overall enjoyable but we found the quality of the pastries and the juice a bit average, at best.
Free wifi was unnecessarily complicated with no more than one device being able to use the same network and there are several available within the hotel

We stayed for 3 days in this lovely hotel, very close to the city center and not far from the airport.
There are a few bus stops near, but with 10 euros you can take a taxi to/from the airport, and a taxi ride to the railway station won't cost you more than 9-10 euros to.The room was quite small, but I'm still satisfied, it was clean with all the confort needed. The internet was a bit slow and failing many times. The breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from.
The staff was pleasent and helpfull. To sum it up, it is a very good value for the money.

Room Tip: Rooms in the back are very quite, the ones in the front have a main road in front, and quite noisy.

We stayed in this hotel for one night and was really satisfied. The room was quite big with big bathroom and aircon. Breakfast was great you can choose from range of food and drinks. There is also outer terrace where you can have your breakfast too. The only thing was that wifi connection works only in wifi corner and they really dont have parking place but you can easily park on the street right in front of the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The hotel is located little bit further from the city centre but it is easily reachable by walk - it takes about 20-25 minutes (no turns, just keep walking straight until you reach the main square). If you don't feel like walking then there is bus stop few metres from the hotel. There is also a small supermarket about 2 minutes from the hotel.

The hotel itself does not look very appealing from outside but the interior is modern. Our room was really spacious and modern. There was everything you need for a pleasant stay - large bed with a very comfortable mattress, desk, 2 chairs, LCD TV, large wardrobe with a safe, a wall mirror and even a balcony. The bathroom was also spacious, with free toiletries and hairdryer.

There was also a kitchenette behind sliding doors that can be activated for €10 per day. When you check in you receive a small leaflet with all the necessary information that you might want to know such as WIFI, room facilities (including prices),parking options and information on the nearest shops, transfers (train, taxi, bus, airport bus - also with prices, distances), etc. I was really impressed by this as you do not have to bother the hotel staff with various questions. There is also a little map so you can see where the hotel is located.

Also if you wanna go to the airport and you are not a solo traveller I suggest to take taxi instead of the airport bus as the bus costs €6 each and taxi around €13.

Breakfast room is quite small but there is also an outside-terrace seating. There is a good choice of pastries, croissants, some fruit, biscuits, some hot food also. The breakfast is served from 7am -11am.

All in all we had an amazing time at this hotel and we would definitely come back again.

I was a bit disapointed with this hotel. Even tough is well located for a value price, at via Aurelio Saffi, just within a 15 minutes walk for downtown Bologna and all the interest points. The room was not well cleanned when i arrived. The airconditioning was not working and making a terrible noise. It was very hot and for this reason we didnt sleep well. Besides, the wifi doesnt work at all. Worst that i had during my whole trip to italy. They say the hotel has car parking, but its not guaranteed that you ll have a plaçe. They dont have places enough for all the guests. So, when we arrived, the garage was full. Luckily, a couple was leaving and we could park then, at a very tight location. The breakfast was just ok, but nothing special. I plan to return to bologna but not staying here!!!!!!

The hotel is conveniently located 5 mins' on foot from Porta San Felice, where you can start a nice walk under the Bologna porticoes taking you to via Ugo Basi, Rizzoli and city center. Also, we discovered that is was very easily reached form the airport. The rooms, although not immensely spacious, are very well furnished, clean and the design is appealing. An excellent breakfast served by wonderful and amiable staff welcomed us every morning, be it either in the airy cosy restaurant or outside on the lovely sun-deck. We were very pleased to get help and support instantly and on any request, from the receptionist to the bell-boy to the waiter. overall, an excellent stay at a more-than-convenient price!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the street are noisy only if opening the window, if you are dying for fresh evening air...

i expected a lot more from this 4-star hotel. Positive : friendly staff, good noise and light isolation (also from the busy street) and the bed was also quite good. The room (a suite) was more than spacious enough. Negative : old, small and unpleasant lightened corridors, In the rooms cheap floors, cheap lightning (TL), poorly filled fridge (1 beer, 2 cokes, 2 waters), dreadfull television set, small bathroom (shower: 60x90cm). Disastrous : the Internet. never seen, so slow. impossible to go on the internet, let alone trying to download your newspaper. You really have to forget about the internet, entering that hotel... It's quite far from the city center. you really need a cab each time (10-15euro).
