“Suite Hotel Elite”

Suite hotel Elite is 20 minutes walking from piazza maggiore and 5 minutes by car to the airport.
It has a bus stop close by where you can take a bus to the city centre if you don't feel like walking.
The Staff from reception was very good, very helpful and for us the best thing about this hotel.
The hotel as modern rooms and reception and old looking halls. Our room was a normal size and although it looked like it has recently been refurbished the final look of the room isn't 4 stars.
There are different kinds of rooms so maybe the suites are much better but if it wasn't for the service we wouldn't feel that we were in a 4 star hotel.

I stayed here last summer in july. Rooms are large, beds are very clean and cozy and the bathrooms are also very tidy. Every room has good AC. Ours had wooden floor which was good because most others had something like marble floor witch I don't quite like - it's very very cold. Only problem we had was with the shower - the hot water wouldn't stop running. I mean like really really hot almost like boiled water. But we went to the front desk and they sent someone to fix it in a matter of minutes. One thing why I really liked it is the breakfast! I have never seen in my life that amount of different pastries in one place. Besides that they had the standard breakfast things like ham, eggs, toast etc. And the little cute bar where you can order any kind of coffee you want! I had a cappuccino and the bartender brought it to my table with a cocoa-powder heart on top of the milk foam :D
Only thing that is not so good is the location - the hotel is a little bit further away from the city centre but it's at least easy to find. You just walk down the street from hotel for about 20-25 minutes and you're there.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with the wooden floor. I thing they are all on the 2nd and the 3rd floor, not quite s...

This hotel was offering some of the last rooms in Bologna due to an exhibition I was attending. room charge was over 350 Euros a night, way too much for a hotel which is not in the very center, has no restaurant inside and, something which is for me very irritating, a barely working internet (only wifi) network.

My room was small but comfortbale, bathroom of a reasonnable size, The breakfast was just basic. For me, the hotel is equivalent to a good Ibis 2 star hotel but that day with prices twice as expensive as what I paid for instance at Grand Hyatt Mumbai...

This Hotel is well located and only a short walk from the city centre. Buses take you there even quicker. The breakfast is good, with a very good selection of warm and cold dishes, though the b'fast room was a little bit crowded - would definitely be better once warmer weather settles in and patio can be used.
The room we had was large, (we opted for an upgrade which was worth the extra charge) and well appointed. Wi-fi worked well as did the showers etc. Only problem with room was noise level coming down through the bathroom service cupboards. The garage is free but small with only about 10 parking slots, but across the road hotel offers ample external parking at a moderate charge.Only other point is that there is only 1 lift servicing a rather large hotel, so at peak times waiting for lift can be rather long. Good overall value for money.

Room Tip: At peak times ask for a room on lower floors as it would be easier to walk up and down!

The hotel is located outside the perimeter of the old city, by step 15-20 minutes to Piazza Maggiore-the center of the old city.
The bus shuttle takes you from airport and stops at Railway(train) station, bus also has stop to Ospetale maggiore (Maggiore Hospital) where you should get off the bus. Ask the driver where to stop when you say him what hotel you want to reach. In 200m ahead you reach the hotel on the right side. The ATC ticket cots 6 euro and you can buy it from turistic information point from airport, automatic machine or driver.
By step to the railway station takes you around 25-30 minutes, depends of the step, also you can use buses. For best answers ask at the reception, where you can ask for a map which can help you through the town. Angela is the best at the reception so ask her everything you need for reaching what you have planned!
The hotel has free wi-fi- user and password provided for each room.
Regarding food- breakfast is excellent-many options at continental breakfast. Very tasty coffee starting from espresso, american coffee, cappucino, machiato and so on. Fresh fruits and very helping and friendly personnel. The breakfast room is situated at the second floor near the automatic machine with suites and beverages and also internet area.
If you want to eat is good to know that restorants and tratoria are opened after 19.30. The hotel provides you 10% discount for Da Gigi restaurant and Tratoria very close to hotel and across the street. Also you can order in your room the pizza.
At the check out you will be ask to pay a city tax- 1 euro/person/night in double room and 1.50 euro if you had a single room. Also you have a mini bar in the room- water 2euro Coke 3 euro or beer 3,50 euro
I do recommend a very good restaurant called Il Moro Ristorante- Via de'Falegnami 5C you have to reach Via dell' Independenza ans is close to Catedralle di S. Pietro but on the other side. Excellent pizza, food, sweets.
You can Visit the Two Tower- 3 euro for climbing on the 487 wodden stairs. The view of Bologna from above. Take tome to walk on the beautifull streets and you can see at each step places to visit.
Take time to visit Ferrara- a very beautifull town- by train 30 minutes- train ticket cost 4.40euro one way, if you buy from automatic machine do not forget to validate the ticket to the little machines before you get in the train.
Also a good trip for one day is Florence- with the fast train frecciaarossa or frecciaargento help you to reach the town in 37-40 minutes.

Room Tip: check the room before or ask for a room with heater into the bathroom, otherwise you can reach a roo...

We stayed here the night before our flight back from Italy to the US. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the room as well as the quality of the shower. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The wifi in the common area where there are two computers for people to use was really poor, but the wifi in our room was better but still not excellent. Breakfast in the a.m. was quite decent. There was an employee making espressos, etc., for guests. One thing I was struck by was when we came upon two housecleaning staff who were painstakingly scrubbing the marble stair treads in the hotel's staircase. I really hope these women are paid well as this must be back-breaking labor. This example shows the attention to cleanliness in this hotel. Not to be missed is the local ice cream place just steps away, called Antica Cremeria.

the hotel is 20 min walk from the city and 4 min by bus number 13 or 19. it is really easy.
bologna is great. unlike other cities, it combines the atmospheric of the old buildings with the local scene. people are nice. don't forget to visit a very nice family restaurant who makes your pizza on the spot. it called pomodoro. it's in the old city.i like the breakfast, the price
the room was spacey. free parking free wifi.

i didn't like the that the door needs maintenance
you can hear the water when other room uses the toilet
the shower head keeps falling and the tempreture is fixed on 30 c
all and all, reasonabele price for a cute hotel.

Room Tip: 8xx - 8th floor. ask for highest floors only so you dont hear the plumbing of other guests...
