Alessandro and his Italian Days Food Experience was a real treat. It began with scheduling the event with his charming girlfriend Barbara via email, who ensures all the details. The day of the event, Alessandro and his driver Fabrizio picked us up at our hotel and immediately began entertaining us. The tours at the Parmigiano, Balsamico and Prosciutto facilities were incredibly delightful, entertaining and educational. I'm a "foodie" who has high standards for quality and pedigree, and I found all three facilities to be masters of their respective crafts. The DOP prosciutto was the best I've ever had, and the Extra Vecchio balsamic was indescribable. Alessandro has found his niche - his personality, enthusiasm and knowledge will capture you, and the endless samples accompanied by wine will redefine your understanding of cheese, meat and balsamic...not to mention very enjoyable Lambrusco...
The conclusion of the tours would have left me thoroughly satisfied, but to top it all off, Alessandro arranges an incredible sit-down meal that will set the standard for dining in Italy.
