The hotel public spaces are lovely, but the rooms are a bit dated. Safe was broken. Nice big tub in bathroom though.

The real issue was noise. This hotel is out of town (note you need a car), and so theoretically peaceful and quiet. I don’t know what was going on or who was above us on the second floor (owner’s unit?, staff needing to get up early?), but there were sounds of furniture being moved around above us from 4 am on, and extended vacuuming right above us starting at 7:00 am! We got no sleep. Whatever you do, do not stay in or near room 208.

Nice view, but it's one of those places where the management forget that hotel guests need to actually sleep; they rent the place out for parties, and the loud music goes on until at least midnight. I'd give it a miss.

A lovely castle, with exactly what we expected: amazing hallways, old rooms and beautiful old bathroom, clean but old - could use a renovation some time, smells like a castle, comfortable beds, kept in old style with carpets and wooden furniture.

Incredible view over Rome, sunset on that side. Really good heating in the rooms. Good breakfast with allot of cakes and pies.

This is is supposed to be 4*hotel, it has seen the 4* perhaps from outside but definitely from inside! Mole in the bathroom, stained sofa, absolutely disgusting! Huge disappointment, the restaurant was closed for dinner. I would say this place is 2* bed and breakfast and that’s only because the property itself is very nice! But the inside is house of horror.

We stayed one night, the room was comfortable and clean, the style is a bit out dated but added to he charm of the hotel, we ate in the restaurant and the food was very good but a bit expensive. The position of the hotel on a hill just outside Tivoli is fantastic and the grounds are beautiful as well as the pool. The staff were a bit of handed and cold.
