Many people talk about this trattoria in Rome...
..The result is that I found a real (..A bit forced) effort in being unconventionally rough trendy that fascinates in a way.
The decor is kind of deliberately bare and the table arrangement leaves very small space for manoeuvre.
The service is efficient but once again intentionally spartan with direct questions and answers and no written menu.
Food wise, lots of traditional dishes, many of them rooted in the working class mentality. They are tasty and they work, however they go down kind of heavy with salt and olive oil (so do not expect a light meal), but I guess that is also part of the traditional cooking mentality of the area.
So I guess the place has its own charm..
