Easy to reach and friendly atmosphere :) The restaurant is not very big, but I think this is also what gives it that special "flavor". That, plus the company you are in. The food is very good, I had as starter "insalata di polpo con nero di seppia" and it was delicious !!! As a main dish i went with the classic pasta con funghi porcini and it was the real thing. For dessert I went with Tiramisu.
If you are a wine lover, you can chose from a variety of wines and you won't be disappointed.
A nice place, and I can't wait to take my friends there and discover new dishes. Loved it and will be back there for sure !

The pasta was excellent, but for much less we found plenty of other Restaurants that were just as good. Idem the desert. The second dish was very underwhelming however. The problems started when we were told that the dish we wanted was no longer available and the waitress let us know our other options - We asked her if it was the same price, and if it still came with the side of potatoes, and she said that it did. Well, not only were the side or of potatoes insultingly insufficient (literally 4-5 little 1/4 inch squares - looked more like a garnish), but they also went ahead and charged us an extra 8 Euros for the mushrooms which were an integral part of the dish, not a side dish. When we brought this up with the waitress, who in fact looked surprised, she went to talk with the woman who seemed to run the place. The waitress came back and told us that she had made a mistake, that the mushrooms were in fact a side, and that we had to pay. Well, you know as we Irish say, Malarkey.

This was a great food experience. We ate early - 830 (when they opened) - and they were packed by the time we left - a mix of mostly locals and a few tourists. They must prep the appetizers before hand because we were served them almost immeidatley after ordering. Terrific goat cheeze balls, rolled in chopped walnuts and served with a but of drizzled honey and pecorino. Another appetizer was ricotta (and more) stuffed squash flowers that were very lightly deep fried. Their carbonara was just ok (we had an outstanding carbonara elsewhere on the trip that was just superb). The grilled flank steak was exceptionally tender, for a not-marinated meat. The stuffed eggplant rolls were fine, but the stuffing included proscuitto which was not preferred. Service was attentive and there were reasonably priced wines too! Great place to dine.

We were taken to this restaurant by a friend who is a food critic and really knows her Italian cuisine - we weren't disappointed! Ambience, service, food - presentation and quality - all excellent. I can't remember exactly what we ate but it was delicious, and the courses were all well balanced. Treat yourselves!

I actually visited this restaurant as part of a group trip. We had a cooking class in the afternoon to make the food we would later eat for dinner. Everything was made completely from scratch, the appetizers, the bread, the pastas, and the dessert. Everything was so fresh and tasted fantastic. We met the chef, Renato, and he was just great. He had a fantastic sense of humor when we were learning the recipes and cooking the food, as well as his presence during the dinner. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as a top choice in Rome.
