“Good food, decuate price”

Well, that was the first place we have visited, when arrived. And our impression was strange. Expecting to try a real italian pizza, the most original, we got pizza dry and burned onthe sides. But vino della casa made our dinner much better :) . But we decided to come back and to spend here our last evening in Rome, and we don't regret. Very good sea fruit salads, absolitely amazing beef slices in fungi sauce. But, speaking the words of my husband, "stay away from the chicken breast. and the waitress is very concentrated, not smiling". When we come back to Rome, this place will certanly be in our "worth visiting list". Ah yes, 1 litre of vino della casa 9 euros ;)

“Wonderful, food, service and ambiance!”

Three of us traveling together, husband, girlfriend and me, they accomadated my girlfriend with Loctose issues perfectly. Served us great food! One night, we were lucky enough to be there when the owners were having dinner, en familia, they were the most gracious people, lovely and friendly, shared all their food and even sent us off with a gift of the black rice they use.

Tony was our server, you can just tell him what you like and leave the ordering to him, he will not do you wrong. We had the veal scalopini, the wild boar and pizza. Another night we had a seafood stew, caldonze and osa sambuca. All our dinners were so wonderful! Thank you to Tony, Attoinella and Vincent, your family is beautiful and you are delightful! Grazie!!! From California to Rome!

“Fantastic food at a very reasonable price”

Stumbled across this place after visiting the Vatican - it is a little further past some of the very tourist focused places. Here they don't pounce on you as soon as you look at the menu - and that is probably because they don't have to - the food is good enough to draw people in itself. We had the tourist set menu lunch which was ten euro each for the best bread we have in Rome (it was fresh baked and warm - beautiful), a massive pasta (I had tortellini my partner had cabonara I think, both were really good and we wondered how we could possibly fit the second course) second course was chicken with fries, which was fine.

Atmosphere was good, service was fairly prompt without being intrusive - and they left enough time between courses as well. It was a good find.
