You usually get what you expect from a trattoria with pizzas on the menu, on one of the busiest and most touristy streets in Trastevere. But the food here is often more than just average and I really love their Tiramisù! The service is efficient but not great (typically Roman I'd say) even if they sometimes try to be a little bit nicer. As the prices are low you always leave this place with a full stomach and a smile on your face - so it is worth a visit if you're in the neighbourhood.

We got to Rome around 3pm., so almost after lunch time. We stayed in teatro pace hotel near piazza Navona. We asked about the place where we can have a lunch, and they recommended this place
There were several people finishing their lunch, almost Italian.
We asked take tapas, and pasta with seafood, and meat. All food was very tasty. House wine was also good. Staff friendly and helpful.
It p is no doubt the place is based in tourist region, and focuses on pizza, but all other food is very good
I would recommend for a lunch if you around piazza Navona.

In Rome on a business trip, one of our local colleagues brought us here for dinner. I had my first truffle pizza and it was addictive! Some of the best, freshest ingredients. Everyone enjoyed their meals very much. I came home with truffle paste and have been making my own version of their pizza ever since. Great for a casual meal with friends or family!

We ended up at Ciccia Bomba because Rick Steves noted that they offered a pizza making class! Boy do they! We got one on one instruction, two fantastic hand made Roman style pizzas, all the fixings including a generous amount of meats, two glasses of wine, two bottles of water AND an experience to last a lifetime!

Traveling with a family, we tried to balance value with quality and generally did well. Bomba Ciccia was the best of the trip. We did New Year's Eve there, for a fixed price multicourse dinner. Service was excellent, food better. Fried fresh anchovies were an eye opener - crispy, and delicate, tasted just enough like the sea. Bufala was the best any of us had ever had. The pasta courses were less even, but 3 out of 4 were outstanding, including a beautiful mixed seafood on taglionili. To finish with a rich delicate tiramisu, was just a great all around experience. Somewhat of a surprise in the busking, hawking neighborhood of Piazza Navonna.
