This small cosy hotel is located in a very nice area 10 min walk to Piazza di Spagna and 2 min to Piazza del Popolo. There are many nice restaurants and trattorias around and if you like shopping you have Via del Corso 1 min away. Via del Corso is a pedestrian area here in the northern part and the road goes all the way to Piazza Venezia. The staff at the hotel are very nice and helpful and if you want you´ll get tips on nice eataries neraby. Rooms are ok and the breakfast contains all you need. This was my third visit to Rome and the first time at this hotel and when I return I´ll stay here again. Very familiar, quiet and friendly.

We spend 3 nights in May 2012 at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and spoke pretty good English. The hotel is small and you see the staff when you come and go. The breakfast is good and the woman who puts it together is there to make you fresh cappuccinos and espressos in the morning. The rooms are a little tight (just like any historic building in an old city like Rome or even New York) that hasn't been completely redone. The make good use of the space they have, take excellent upkeep of the rooms and the hotel. Exceptional location and a short walk from the Spanish Steps and the Trevi fountain. About a 30 minute walk from the Vatican and the Colosseum. Tons of great restaurants around. We enjoyed are stay and would recommend to anyone!

This was our first visit to Rome and the people at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly and the location could not have been more convenient with restaurants, subways and things to see (e.g Spanish Steps) only minutes away. Was a little hot in the room, but cooled off fast. Breakfast was a real treat with excellent cappuchino. Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms in this hotel are small, but clean. We loved the location (near Piazza del Popolo) and walked everywhere in Rome. The hotel has a charming cage-type elevator. A delicious breakfast is included in the cost of the room. Hotel offers free access to two computers for use by guests and we were able to upload photos.

We stayed in a balcony room. It had a beautiful roman view and a lovely courtyard to sit in to share a bottle of wine and some cheese. Note you do have to walk up the last 2 flights of stairs for this room. The balcony is shared with the room next door, which posed no problems for us. We loved the charming old feel of the room and of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was very nice, and we appreciated the touch of espresso coffees. The hotel is close to the high end shopping street and spanish steps, which has a great busty feel in the evenings. The hotel itself was very quiet and we slept well. Plenty of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Close for walks along the banks of the river. 20min walk from the Vatican. Tip, buy your tickets online for attractions and go in the morning- the crowds seem to come out lunch time to evening. Close to the Borghese gardens, which in addition to the Vatican, was our favourite place in Rome. This was the only place I felt like I truly got to see how Romans live, picnicking and riding bikes with their families on the weekend. The best thing about this hotel was the price. This hotel gave us a great experience of Rome.
