“not spicy”
Reviewed July 23, 2012

far East enthusiasts will probably dislike the food, which is not as spicy as they might expect: it's likely, in facts, that as a matter of regard to local customers Thien Kim is keeping rather a low profile with hot spices, which can be frankly disappointing.
said that, and nonetheless despite that, this restaurant may anyway be worth a visit because of its quiet, relaxed atmosphere (a terrace overlooking some woody surroundings), the immaculate politeness of their service, the ease of parking and - why not - their food as well, which compared with average local ethnic restaurants looks like having been prepared and served in rather an unusual way. what seems to be really out of touch is their wine list, which is quite expensive, but this is probably not an issue for spices supporters, who will easily remember that wine is not exactly a Vietnamese hit.
being it far away from downtown, for traffic reasons dining there may be more recommendable than having lunch.

“Big disappointment”
Reviewed April 21, 2011

The food had almost no taste and colour, strange, because Vietnamese food is known for its taste. After adding some sauce it was edible, but nothing more.
The service was pleasant, but they could not make up for the ice-cold restaurant. We were really disappointed and will not recommend to go there.
