Food was tasty and service was friendly and quick untill they had a big groups came in. starter was tiny .. very tiny . 3 piece of chicken tikka and seekh kabab for apporx 7 euro each a portion . I shall visit again ifni get chance but for sure starter is off my list unless they improve. They manager and staff were quite efficient though .

We found this place on tripadvisor and have no regrets in choosing this indian resturant. We happen to catch up with the owner and his partner chef and everything from the food to the service were just great.
Food was fresh , hot and tasty. The breads were crisp and hot as well. This place is highly recommended to all who crave for Indian food.

thank you anil for hosting a great Dinner.

I've taken a vegetarian menu for the cheap price of 18€ and everything was really delicious. Lentils were amazing. Really nice service and comfortable place near Trastevere. Next time I'll go to Rome I'll come back for sure.

What an experience!

We were staying in the area where the Spanish steps are and were looking for a top end Indian restaurant. After going through all the reviews we decided on this one. Got a cab to the area and the signs were already showing.... dark scary area.... looked like this was there area where the Indian restaurants were all located.

Got in there and there was only one other couple there – so not much of an atmosphere. The waiter bit dead looking seated us and welcomed us with a weird looking drink which i didn’t touch.

Food – there was 2 of us and for starters we ordered the mixed platter – was cheap at 6/7 euros we should have asked so maybe our fault but there was only one of each item on the plate so 1 kebab 1 samosa 1 piece of chicken and one other veg option. I started by having half if the half sized shish kebab... and i was close to walking out of there.... was awful.... but then was very surprised that the rest of the starters were actually tasty .

After this point another group walked in so made the restaurant have a bit of an atmosphere.

Mains was actually quiet tasty.....

intersting decor....maroon sari type wall paper

Would not go back, was able to laugh about the experience after!
