“Perfect for vegan”
Reviewed August 29, 2013 via mobile

Im not a vegan, but i usually like eating more veggies rather than meat or fish and during my journey in italy i was quite full of pizza and pasta, so it was so nice finding this particular indian spot in Rome! It has a wide selection of vegan dishes, they're so spicy and delicious that you won't miss the taste of meat. No english menu, but they can help you with the translation. Recommended!

“Tasty Tasty Tasty Vegan food!”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

Wow! Our first trip to rome and we stopped by here to eat. The menu is in Italian (we did not mind this) and they were kind to translate, but we asked if they could choose for us, surprise us. We were amazingly surprised :) The food was fantastic and unforgettable. They came out with several small bowls of different things to taste and two jugs of freshly squeezed juice (apple and ginger) The food was so good and the juice naturally refreshing. The staff was very friendly and the place had a good atmosphere. The price for 2 trays of different things to try, 2 jugs of jucie and water came to be 45 euros. The price was expensive, but the food, the people and the place was excotic. The place was not easy to find, but well worth it! :)

“good veggies in a sea of pasta”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

This place was an accidental find and we're so glad we stumbled upon it. Delicious wheat bread (instead of Italy's notable white bread) and a small, but delicious Indian menu (written in Italian). We ordered the daily special and thought the soup was the best we'd ever had anywhere. I ordered a chai latte and they even had soy milk?! The service was very good and the servers spoke beautiful English. The rest of our food was also very good. A nice change from typical Italian food. Dishes ranged from about 9-15 euros.

“We had our best meal in rome here”
Reviewed May 22, 2013

They offer a selection ayurvedic dishes and daily meals. We chose the daily meal (13€ only), which included a fresh vegetable soup, a tasty salad and a main course. The food was very well prepared, they used well combined spices and the service was great (much better than what we experienced in most other restaurants we visited). After the meal we were well nourished but not bloated at all.

When we were about to leave and just took a quick peak at the library the owner approached us and offered us some ginger candy.

Highly recommended!

(A lot of the food was vegan, too).
