We were a bit cold and found a table inside, at this very cozy looking small cantina. Everything seemed fine until this one annoying man started to practice his poor piano skills, and another cigar smoking guy strolling around, not looking too friendly. We had aalready ordered but were seriously thinking of trying another restaurant, mostly because of the noise. Bt the place looked so nice, and when we saw a table outside we decided to give it a try. Good for us! The most charming lady served us deliciously pasta, and big smiles!

I was introduced to this place thanks to a friend who lives literally next door. Located along a narrow street just a stone's throw away from Piazza Navona and lined with quaint shops and a cute piazza with a fountain up front, I had the opportunity to witness how the Romans wine and dine. I spent a couple of late nights in this place sampling their menu with a good bottle of red sometimes even ending up at past 3am! The owner Amadeo was a gracious host and so was Claudia. They have free wi-fi btw :-) Do drop by if you get the chance.

We found the Via dei Coronari and thought it was a lovely road to stroll down - lots of antique shops and a bit quieter than some of the more tourist-heavy areas nearby.

We ate lunch here on the last day of our trip rather than somewhere busier and louder on Piazza Navona. We both had a pasta course to start and these were very good. Service was relaxed and we weren't rushed through our meal like at some places. The house wine was 'ok'.

Would recommend as a place for a nice lunch and people-watching.

On the way walking from Vatican to Pantheon we step in this place to have a quick lunch. It looks so nice and comfortable (nice seat and tables, good music in back ground). Well the food was not at same level. If, may be my choice of a pasta with seafood is not appropriatte since is not Roman's tradition (but why take it in the menu?) the pizza was as well very very poor. May be other dishes can be better but ours was really not a good experience. So if you can, avoid them!!! May be the other more traditional dishes (amatriciana, gricia, carbonara) are better. The price are not the cheapest and in line with other "osterie" in Rome, may be just pay for the appearence.

Looking for quick eats not too far from Piazza Navona, we found this place on the corner of Piazzetta di San Simeone with a view of a nice fountain at its center. Although this is primarily a wine bar, it also serves nice pizzas. There's free Wifi.
