“We loved it!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2012

I was going to buy tickets in advance for this bus but after reading all the bad reviews decided we wouldn't use it. However, after a Vatican tour our feet were tired , we noticed a bus at the stop nearbyand so we decided to give it a try.
It was beautiful sunny afternoon and we got the seats at the back of the top level. Maybe we just lucked out but the woman on the bus was very pleasant, when the bus stopped at the starting point for 20 minutes she explained we could wait or if we wanted go to the first 110 bus in the group as it would be leaving in a few minutes. Our feet were still sore, we stayed on- enjoyed people watching and dd another full circuit. The headphones worked just fine for us. Based on our experience, I would recommend it.

“When in Rome, don't even try to use Open Roma Linie110”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2012

Just back from Rome and one of the things about the whole trip that let us down was the service provided by Open Roma Linie 110. We bought two 48 hour open tickets at 20 Euros each and took our seats. The bus was dirty, most of the plugs with audioguide were not in working condition, the infoprmation provide by audioguide was very scanty and sometimes not related to the object visible in the certain part of the trip. On the top of it, next day were some demonstrations in Rome, nobody and no where informed "110" clients of distrurbances, some of them hopeleslly were waiting in the buis stops for the not operating buses. The staff of lines is not competent (for most of the questions their answer was: "I do not know..", "I could not.."). The only answer they know, was "the getting back of the money is not possible".

So - in fact - to use this line is a wast of money and time!

“Openbus 110”

Great service, loads of stops, but runs a kind of funny half route on sundays. without warning you. Its the "holiday route". We probably should have guessed. Really really good value. 25e for 3 day ticket including the archeobus

“Avoid it like the Plague”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2012 via mobile

If you are happy sitting on a dirty bus with an unfriendly ticket taker going nowhere, than by all means this is the tour for you. Worst experience in my 18 day trip to 10 cities in Europe. Ticket agents claimed buses ran every 15 minutes. In actuality they ran about 30 minutes apart. When they did arrive, they were often full and couldn't take on any passengers. I waited for over a half hour for one bus that proceeded to the next stop which was the terminus and stayed there for another 20 to 25 minutes. When I asked the ticket taker why we were wasting so much time, she ignored me and when I repeated my question, she became quite rude. Do yourself a favor and walk. The traffic in Rome is terrible and you'll spend a long time going nowhere fast on this bus.

“Worst tour bus service in Rome”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2012 via mobile

Stay away form this company: the bus is overcrowded and durty, no places on the top, inside no view of the streets, headphones just do not work, staff rude and unprepared. About the schedule, forget about it. Just an useless service and a perfect way to waste your money.
