We picked this restaurant from a gluten free blog, big disappointment- the prices are very high portions small and the food is average

and I really didn't think the GF options were that much better than any other place we visited

Such fresh seafood, beautiful quality, everything we had was well cooked and tasted as if it had just left the sea.
Service is at a snale’s pace...but it made it an experience night. Inside dining only, but a nice clean bright decor.
Would return if in Rome.

After 14 days at sea, we really were looked forward to not only fresh seafood, but a five star restaurant experience. We took some time making our decision and with the help of our concierge, we selected Q&G. We expressly asked for a non tourist restaurant; however, we failed to ask for a restaurant with integrity.

Restauranteurs who are tired forget the meaning of “fresh” especially when they can quote the EU rules of flash freezing fish. There is an incredible difference in cooking a fresh fillet vs cooking a frozen fillet and the EU rules is written for raw not cooked. There is an incredible difference in cooking hand made pasta vs dried pasta. I question the integrity of Q&G both of hostess and kitchen staff.

If I am paying 300 Euros for a lunch for 2 people, I expect and demand fresh fish and hand made pasta. If you can’t do that, then I expect full disclosure and not a fluff answer that of course “everything is fresh” while I watch the chef in open kitchen pull frozen fish from freezer.

No matter what language you speak, the eyes see, the seasoned mouth understands the taste and texture of fresh vs frozen.

Qinizi and Gabrielli is typical of the small minded “cook” who has no pride in what he presents and whose size belies the fact that he is not eating a healthy seafood diet let alone his own food.

Do yourself a favor and leave your Euros behind at an actual tourist restaurant and not this sad excuse of fine fish dining for that it is not unless you restrict your order to Belon oysters and then you might as well be in the clean city of Paris!!!

We were 9 people from all over the world and all agreed it was our best dinner in Rome. The cheff chose our dishes
which were served on huge trays beautifully set on the middle of the table. I definitely recomend it
